Building on a platform started last year, Google is revamping its Street View 360 degree indoor view to conform to complaints of the service being intrusive to both employees and customers. The new guidelines are to protect privacy and provide a list of opt-outs and exclusions.

Initially the roll-out is limited to select locations including London, Paris and a number of cities in Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the US

Should be opt-in only. While it's nice at a glance, this feature could cause more headaches, particularly because you know one day the headline will read "Master Thiefs use Google Instore View to Plan Out Robbery"
