InfoWorld has an article posted today that shines a spotlight on a handful of hackers that got caught doing really, really stupid stuff. And hackers wonder why they have such a bad reputation. :D

The incident connected to Arciszewski came just one month later, in July 2011. The FBI alleges that Arciszewski, a 21-year-old computer engineering major at the University of Central Florida, broke into InfraGard's Tampa Bay chapter website. He's accused of uploading a few files -- animated kitty GIFs, one can only hope -- and then posting a link on Twitter showing others how he skirted the website's security.

"At its most basic level, InfraGard is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the private sector."

Maybe they should hire him instead of prosecuting them, seeing as their website had shit security. Can't very well ward off potential terrorist attacks when terrorists could potentially see any tip offs.
