The first tech story that no one seriously gives a crap about today is the Yahoo / ABC News deal. The second tech story that is sure to be forgotten by tomorrow is the Rhapsody / Napster deal. Yes, Yahoo and Napster are still around.

Rhapsody, one of the oldest subscription music services, has made it official. The company has acquired Napster subscribers and other assets from Best Buy, while the electronics retailer will obtain a minority stake in Rhapsody, the companies said today. ABC News and Yahoo Inc. are joining to deliver more online news to their audiences.

I still use yahoo mail, and honestly it's not any worse than gmail (which I also use). The problem for Yahoo is there's not a ton of money in email, and all their other services seem to kind of suck.
