They're actually going there to retrieve top secret equipment someone lost.

BTW, do they really need to send two probes just for a personality core?

Orbiting around the moon was accomplished in the 60s. :rolleyes:

Likely the mission is to find underprivileged (lazy) moon people and get a gubment check to them.

Collecting rocks, and getting laid for being an astronaut was 60s/70s stuff. This is about checking the cheese factor of the moon, whether it's cheddar or swiss.

Damn...I totally missed it (Hate all this working from home BS. takes too much of my fun time away!)

Besides, what IS NASA hiding? Aliens (surely they are in cahoots with some of them by now?)
