The asinine statement of the day is brought to you by this Sony executive that felt the PSN hack has was a "great experience." I think the people that had their personal info and credit card details fall into the hands of hackers might have a different definition of a "great experience."

"It's been a great experience," Schaaf concluded. "A great experience?" Tweney asked. "A great experience," Schaaf returned. "I would not like to do it again. One time was enough. Great learning experience."

Incredibly, this guy also claimed that hackers weren't targeting Sony either, they just happened to be one of many sites hit at random.

I'm sure those hackers are willing to give Sony another "great experience".

Instead of facepalming, I did a facedesk instead. I really love my ps3, but continued stupidity out of Sony Execs makes it really hard for me to take anything they say seriously anymore.

"A great learning experience." Hopefully they learned something from it all... hopefully

Comments like these make me wonder not if but when I will have to do without the online feature of my PS3 again..

No sir, a "great experience" would have been Sony putting resources into security to prevent something like this, and then- through that careful and thorough preparation- watching no hack happen at all...

So giving all their customer info away was a great experience. Lulz.

Don't you go and get all intuitive on me now...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought they already did... and did... and did. If the hack fest had been a porn vid then Sony would have been covered in condoms by the time it was over. :D

I truly believe that Sony executives where dropped on their heads as children.

Yeah, getting your dick chopped of it a 'great' experience. Gotta love corporate spin.

I had a "great experience" last night that didn't involve Sony and PlayStation Network.

Nice. This comment on the heels of the speculation that Sony actually made money off the Welcome back program because it upped the exposure of Infamous 2 and Little Big Planet 2, both sequels to free games in the program.

Are you kidding? They didn't even use codoms, Sony was covered in something else...

Punching this guy repeatedly in the face would also be a great experience.

ono a business actually making money??? what has this world come to...

I know right. Some people are apparently upset that Sony saw the Welcome Back program as a marketing opportunity for it's sequels rather than a heartfelt apology that offered "better" compensation.

Why is it that Sony execs say more stupid things than people at any other company?

Your sensational titles really piss me off for some reason.

You should work for a tabloid, in UK preferably. Bright future ahead of you in that department

Sounds like the bull fighter that got gored by the bull "Yeah it was a great experience, I don't want to do that again any time soon".

theres beem no real evidence that the hackers got any data they claim they did but since ant credit card info was encrypted it was useless to them all it seems they did was adenial of service attack and sony then took psn down to make ir more secure. personal info they may have gotten is about the same as most people put in thier fb profiles .So what damage was really done ?

Wow, your in almost as much denial is Sony is about the whole train wreck.

Great doesn't just mean 'good'. It also means 'significant'.

The great fires of London and Chicago weren't because people thought they were fantastic.
