I'm not crazy right? CrossFire Connector? Shouldn't that be SLI?

Thanks for catching that, I have sent a change request to our content team.

I'm very tempted on the 6870 since it's a monster upgrade from my GTS250, and I'm trying to go team red again. I tried the Intel/nVidia for awhile now it's back to AMD/ATi.

I bought a 6850 for slightly more than that 6870 this morning about 2 hours before this post, hah! From what I've seen that is a solid deal on that card -- and I did a good bit of looking before making a purchase.

Damn you tigerdirect, always giving good deals right when I just bought a Gigabyte 6850. lol, anyway, I'm pretty happyr, it was still a huge upgrade from my radeon 3870.

Darn..I was looking for a 6950 deal..I need the extra horsepower for my 3/27 inch monitors :(

You might want to let them know it shouldn't be a "CardBus Connector" either; cardbus is for notebooks.

Remove "CardBus", and it will read just fine.

So a "Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition" video card does not even include the game? Um, yeah, pass.....

6850's can be modded into 6870's anyway. Might as well keep the extra cash.

Darn that 6870 is tempting. I'm really really trying to hold off replacing my 4890 until the 7xxx or 6xx series come out whenever that might be.

Also, I've been fairly impressed with the TD deals lately. More so than I have been with the newegg deals anyway.

DRAT. I don't have the cash to buy the 6870 currently (have to wait until next payday (yay bonus!) which is on Friday, Feb. 25). That's what I get for taking a look at [H]ot Deals. I should learn to stay away until I have the money.

I bought the Ati 6950 first, making up my mind on which Sandybridge board I'll get and then Intell desides for me to hang in a bit longer. ? If one gets a M/B that does Crossfire or Sli will that particular board hold me back from a good overclocking. Which board might I get from the good fellows of TigerDirect.
