Which is still fun. The new boards with the OPL2 are great though. Saw a review on LGR I believe? Do not quote me on that but wherever it was I liked it.
It was a comment on the progression and lowered costs.
Intel was damn sure not going to do something like this anytime soon so sorry I am a bit taken a back by it all.
Where in the world Did I claim INTEL WAS OUT?
I am talking about the slide you are using as justification for keeping this thread open... A point you are pretending to not understand.
Why don't you make a new thread regarding the new link instead of having kept this open when it was clearly...
I thought about 6950x myself but with the new cpus on both sides it hard to stay on x99. I will say I have no solid reason to upgrade yet but I want too.
I was considering reusing the v1 but the ventilation and extra gpu spacing plus the support bracket and flexible fan mounting points is making me reconsider. I'll probably make the old v1 a htpc or something.
500 vs 99. The power difference is negligible and consider that its drawing way more energy to do so.
The fact that you can get within 5-10% of that perf for 99 dollars is mind blowing. Only those who weren't buying components about 3 years ago would think otherwise.
Local MC is out of Zen 2 right now and it sucks...
I wanted to pull the trigger on a 12 core upgrade to my 6850k...
Damn thing isn't even holding me back but I am ready to shed some wattage and gain some cores (Stock vs OCed basically).
Yeah I'm no laptop guy but I watch videos of the innovative one's and Alienware is on that list of videos often. They tend to push the envelope. Think what anyone may about the branding or not.
This thread is so off topic now because when discussing a huge lie that's obviously fake I think everyone with brain cells realized how dumb it is to shoot the shit about a product that never existed. Can we do our jobs and close this thread, please and thank you.
I'm not brand loyal but I've got preferences. They take a back seat to performance and aesthetics though.
So vrm quality, hs/f quality, display outputs, noise level, aesthetics.
Im with you on this. I used to recomemend higher end boards when they were around 450 - 600 at the MOST.
But now its just for no good reason. Most mid range boards take care of everything needed.
I think mobo makers need to relax but also I know they need to make up R&D.
The model name alone is a dead give away that this is fake. Keeping this open makes the hard forum look bad.
Pretty sure the old staff would have closed this
No its not. Keep telling yourself that increasing your attack surface is a good idea because UI is what you like if you want. But dont tell people its better because its not.
