Well, I have a Brother HL-1440. It is 5 years old, and lately it is making a lot of strange noises, and having paper jams. Is this a sign that I need a new drum unit? (A.K.A. buy a new printer because a drum unit costs more)
Well, I needed to share a HDD, and a printer on one of my machines (XP Home). However, after enabling the options, it takes an atrocious amount of time for the XP Home machine that is hosting the HDD and printer to boot-up. It seems to add an additonal 25-35 minutes to the normal boot-time...

I have a GeForceFX 5700LE 128mb PCI card on one of my machines (only PCI slot working). However, it only has 64-bit memory. A friend has a spare Radeon 9200 128mb 128-bit PCI card I can have if I want. Would the the Radeon be better since it is 128-bit? Or do the cores make a bigger difference.
