Yea I meant can't be seen. What is odd is I notice it more on the right side on grey scenes. However I am not sure if it is because of the "controls" being placed on the right side (left if look at back side).
Anyone else see a slight discrepancy that has the monitor? I still have the 2nd year...
So I have owned this monitor for a little over a year. I still have a 2nd year warranty on it. Somewhere for as long as I can remember it seems there is a faint band on the right side of the monitor about 3 inches inward. The left also has the same band but it is not very noticeable like right...
Is this still true? The last game I played was COD IW with FPS counter on and I really never noticed it go to 76 FPS when the monitor was running at 75hz and my Frame Rate control was 75 FPS. I am on a driver package that is one before the Relive set.
So there appears to be confusion, but this monitor is listed as LFC. So if it is LFC why would we ever set the FRTC at 45 FPS? Can't it go down to the 20s?
Hefty etc.
I understand what you guys are saying but you have to realize something.
1. I don't personally have a desk wider than the thickness of my dad bod so literally 32 inch is the max. 34 inch ultra wide is going to be way too wide without relocation the speakers. Granted I could hang...
To answer your question about settings I am on the last AMD Hotfix drivers. I think they are like 16.11.15 Crimson. I rolled back from the ReLive driver due to what I was experiencing as WoW issues. WoW kind of sucks anyways cause in the past when I was on the 280 and with the last expack...
The HP monitor software runs fine in Windows 10 for me however it offers no benefit other than the ability to save presets over just using the monitor controls.
Hopefully this helps some people cause what a nightmare.
So AMD Relive drivers are great until I attempted to switch World of Warcraft from window to full screen, then for some reason the RX480 never gets like activity so it runs at like a snails pace. I don't even have MSI software on here and...
I honestly don't think this is that bad, but I just wonder how everyone is able to perceive the full screen anyways unless they are sitting like 5 feet back. 32 inches is so big that I have a issue with viewing angles just looking straight on because my eyes have to shift around the screen so...
I am just curious and you know asking for a friend. Does pornhub stretch across in Eyefinity or are web applications limited to one screen? Cause if it works with Eyefinity, I might have 2 more on order.
To be fair the LG ultrawide that does Freesync says the same thing that it supports 75hz but only defaults to 60hz without an ATI card. Here is someone going through the same shit.
So I mean I have just accepted if you buy a FreeSync based monitor that says 75hz its probably going to be 60hz...
To be honest can we really knock a monitor that "frame skips" at 75hz without an ATI card? This is a freesync monitor after all and the freesync range really enables that 75 hz.
That would probably help, but if you are hung up a specific character like a T, why not try to change the default font that windows uses for menus and text? Just curious?
If you are asking why one core reports a higher temp than others its probably due to multicore turbo. There is a multicore turbo option in the BIOS, I have it set to enabled basically the default turbo option only will boost 2 cores, the multicore enhancement is what it is called tries to boost...
I know you PMed me and i think you solved this mystery. I wouldn't RMA for it at least I am not. If anything i am in the camp to just find a min. speed that works all the time vs a temp controlled setting. Unless you are on something like stock cooling you should have plenty of head room. Still...
I fixed my black screen issues by basically disabling Link State Power Management. Should I enabled that now with this driver? My computer is on a 45 minutes sleep timer and a 20 minute monitor turn off timer, I dont know how much it will really matter
I had the same thing on my current card. Personally I think it plagues a lot of AMD configurations out there. Happened in Win 7 and Win 8.1. I disabled PCI-E Power State or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Active_State_Power_Management
Its pointless on PCs especially if your sleep state is close to...
I have 1100 and 1550 on a 7950 boost on a 20 percent power limit, no volt mod and honestly I am not even artifact-ing yet. Honestly though I still hate the card. Just saying you could go higher on a 7970 or should be able to.
Hey Warsam71 I would love to try Mantle, however whenever I am running this with mantle I am getting temps that make Furmark blush. For instance I am running a 7950 Boost even at boost clocks of 925 mhz and 1250 on the ram, which is no increase in power limit I am seeing a constant 80 C clocks...
I am running a CoolerMaster Sleeve bearing fan similar to this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103052
I am not sure if it is the exact same model as what comes with the Elite 130. I would have to look it up, but I couldn't get anything less than 50 percent. I...
Its the same, however I couldn't find a driver newer than the 4/8 date. A lot of what Dell/etc has is from last Sept.
That being said I have to use the N900 based router from centurylink for IPTV, well I don't have it, but pointless to buy a AC based router.
That being said is anyone...
So I bought a refurb Powercolor 7950 Boost. Like the V5 with the non reference cooler.
Anyways for the last month card has worked great. I have monitor turn off set to 10 minutes and sleep set to an hour. So the card has moved from a Windows 7 old machine to my new machine in the signature...
So besides the ASRock site does anyone know how to get the Broadcom drivers for the Bluetooth/Wifi. Trying to see if there is anything more current than the early 2014 drivers that come with the board? Thanks.
Anytime man. If it helps when I got this board I couldn't even boot it into windows for like 5 attempts. Some genius at ASRock thought setting a 1 second time out on the boot menu to get into the bios was a good idea.
I haven't had that issue, but I am using Windows 8.1 and it has its sleep issues with even going to sleep. I haven't had issues from sleep except for every so often that the bluetooth connection will tell me I need admin rights to connect that device or some shit.
I doubt I will switch out...
Has anyone noticed the fan speed control issue. For instance this was posted in a Newegg review as well but I have a fan with specs of like 2200 RPM, its decent sleeve bearing Cooler Master fan that comes with the Elite 130. I have it set for like 25 percent however there isn't even a chance it...
Is the built in wi-fi that shitty? I know this uses something like a 2TR2 or something wireless card which is also I think the technology the gigabyte board uses although that is an Intel card. Surprised to see this was a boardcom chip, but I thought Intel uses a lot of boardcom chips in their...
