Plex server and Kodi front end. best solution
Kodi can be a pain for scrapping media, but its excellent customizable player.
Plex does the dirty work in the background.
from what I gathered the razer one is a clone... just not sure of what.
Razer, Kensigton, OWC and Sonnet (professional design stuff) have the same thunderbolt hub, not sure which one of the original and which ones are the clones.
Razer - $320
Kensigton - $360
OWC - $230
Sonnet - $210
here is example of what i'm looking at... well almost

Looks good, but extra usb would be better then ethernet
not sure what hubs you use, but I never had the issues you are describing..
anyway, lets get on topic, and hopefully someone knows of a good "hub" that would fit my requirements.
most USB hubs need to be powered, and the ones that require no external power are good for very basic devices...
a normal powered USB hub is fine for desktop, what you want to avoid is docks or usb hubs that have PD passthrough to charge your laptop from the host cable
Help me find "ultimate USB Hub" for desktop
I can find these thunderbolt docks, but those usually are designed for laptops, looking for something similar but for a desktop
I'm looking for the best USB HUB.
Few specs that I would like
USB4/Thunderbolt 40GBs
FEW USB-A
FEW USB-C
No ethernet
Card...
I have/seen or used few devices with Thunderbolt 3 or 4.
Out of about 10+ devices only one of them had the thunderbolt controller recognized as USB4.
I seen devices with one Thunderbolt 3 and one Thunderbolt 4 that get recognized as USB4, thunderbolt is missing from device manager, this device...
I'm looking for a safe secure way to access family photos from a local server remotely on android devices.
I have about 10TB of family photos (raw images) and a lot of family videos that I want to be able to access on our Android devices, anyone ideas?
I forgot to add that I already have a nice Epson ET-8500 for photo printing, this laser i'm looking for is just for docuemnts.
seems like brothers are the most popular.
any good gaming chairs that are maybe $300-400 max? something that on sale?
right now I have VertaGear PL6000 I believe, but the seat started to rip.
Looking for a new recommendation.
what is the current status of USB 4.0 availability?
I have one motherboard with thunderbolt 4.0, I remember reading somewhere that USB 4.0 was supposed to be interchangeable with thunderbolt.
