So I'm waiting for my Area 51m to arrive, and I purchased an Alienware graphics amplifier to throw my 2080ti in. The thought is that when I'm at home I can dock the laptop and play on my ultrawide setup. I basically sold all of my gaming hardware and consolidating down to one device (very long...

Hello,
I'm selling my ASUS Zephyrus GX501VIK. I love this laptop (and purchased it from this forum), but I need something with more battery life now that I am on the road a lot more.
I've also upgraded the SSD to a Samsung 960 Pro...

I just ran across this article and found it interesting.
Samsung mass producing 10nm-class 32GB DDR4 SoDIMMs for gaming laptops https://www.techspot.com/news/74852-samsung-mass-producing-10nm-class-32gb-ddr4-sodimms.html

Hello all,
I'm selling:
My Surface Pro 4:
Intel i5 - 6300U Skylake
8GB RAM
256GB Storage
Surface Arc Mouse
91 Charge cycles on battery (I believe it is rated for 1000 cycles but not sure)
Accessories: Surface Keyboard (Gray), Surface Pen, 3x Power Adapters, 2x Ethernet Adapters, miniDP to VGA...
So this is not a humble brag or anything of the sort. I honestly don't know how "good" these temps are. I haven't spent a lot of time tuning my 5960x but it seems like a below average chip.
Loop:
2x Alphacool XT45 Rads (push / pull)
2x D5 Pumps in serial
EK Supremacy CPU Block
2x EK 1080Ti GPU...
So shame on me....
I've ran distilled water + silver kill coil in the same loop for about 2 years without draining or filling (except when I added GPU blocks about half way in)
Yes I probably should have drained it, ran something (vinegar?) through it, rinsed it, and put in a fresh kill coil...
So I'm at a point of indecision. I sold off my air cooled 1080's for a decent amount and I'm looking to put two cards back in my system on a custom loop.
I was thinking of ordering the EVGA 1080Ti FTW3 cards and buying EK's block for them, but I realized that I almost never get a decent...
Hello all,
I'm selling my used 6700k that was purchased along with my laptop in October. I upgraded to a silicon lottery 7700k and I don't plan on using this CPU for another project.
I don't have the original packaging as it was shipped with my laptop but it will be shipped in the holder that...
I'm selling two of my laptops to hopefully get in on a newer gaming laptop (and now that I'm traveling, the more power the better).
MSI GT72S 6QE:
1080p G-Sync Display @ 75hz
6820HK @ Stock (Always was stock)
980m 8GB (Always was stock)
64GB GSkill DDR4 Ram
2 SSDs:
One 512 GB 950 Pro's (NVMe)...
So first thing, the cards work great at 1440p.
Secondly, during gameplay I hear the fans revving every couple of seconds or so. It will go up for about 5 seconds, then come down for a while.
I tried applying a manual fan in the EVGA precision X tool and the manual fan will work, but I'll still...
So right now I don't have any GPUs at all, save for the one in my gaming laptop. I'm considering buying one GTX 1080 to hold me over for now.
I game on a 2560x1400 165hz GSync display. Do you think this would be adequate? I don't mind turning down a setting or two. I could optionally buy two...

So I had $3700 in store credit at best buy. My Epson 5030UBe kicked the bucket and I needed to replace it along with getting a nice home theater audio system.
I picked up the following:
2x R-28F floor standing
1x R-25C center
2x R-15M Bookshelfs (for surround)
1x R-12SW Sub
Onkyo TX-NR656 AVR...
I'm selling a 2x8GB set of Hynix RAM and a 2x8GB Kingston HyperX DDR4 2133 notebook ram. These were both in my MSI GT72S 6QE laptop so they are compatible together without issue.
I'm selling each kit separately for $45 or together for $80 (plus shipping, we can work something out) - OBO
I...
So I've got three 980TIs on EK waterblocks in my main rig. My concern is that it didn't look like all of the thermal pads for my memory modules were making good contact between the block and the card. I tried to have a memory overclock of +100 but (the only game) Fallout 4 would crash every...
So I have a question. I have an ASRock Extreme 11 motherboard lying around. It was an expensive board new ($600) because of the 8-port LSI raid controller (using 8 PCIe 3.0 lanes) and two PLX switches. I was contemplating buying an E5-2630v2 and some DDR3 ECC Ram and using this as the system for...
So I just got my GT72S MSI laptop with a Gsync display and a small problem. I've played two games with this so far and it seems at somewhat random intervals it blinks to black for a split second and comes back. The graphics are not stuttering and the laptop fans are not running hard. I haven't...
So I just ordered a MSI GT72S-G219 laptop and I'm really excited. I need two things for it though...

I'm looking to get into a gaming laptop and as a result I'm going to be selling my Retina MacBook Pro (Early 2015) for $1200 OBO shipped (lower 48 states only).
I purchased this MacBook in April of this year.
Specs:
Intel i5 (base CPU)
8GB RAM
256 PCI-E SSD

So I've got the hardware in my sig right now. I game at 4k on my main rig, and at 1080p on a projector on my portable system. I use a lot of portable stuff at work but they aren't work devices per se.
Background:
I've had two of the 8GB ram / 256GB Surface Pro 3's. I sold the first one...
I'm selling my SilverStone 1500w power supply for $175 OBO.
Comes with all original cables and cable holder. Power supply is in great shape and I averaged about 600w of draw off of this unit (I didn't push it that hard).

I'm selling my four Titan's on H2O.
They are bios modded but can be reverted back to stock. I had a very light overclock on them for being on water (1137 core).
They have heatkiller water blocks and backplates. I have the original box for all four Titans. I also have the air coolers...
So this may need to go into GenMay (I'm a subscriber) but not sure.
I've noticed that any piece of hardware I plug into the power (or in the case of the USB powered ones, into my desktop) that all of my touch screens go whacky when I touch them. This doesn't happen anywhere else in the house...
Well after water leaked from a custom made water block while the system was on it was time to replace some things. It was time to retire some x79 components and move up!
I returned my laptop and performed some upgrading.
New Parts:
5960x @ 4.6GHz
64GB of DDR4 - 2400
EVGA Supernova T2...
I run 1/2 ID tubing to all parts of my Loop. My loop order is as follows:
Res -> Dual pump top RAD 1 -> Heatkiller XL Mutli Block (4 GPUs) -> RAD 2 -> CPU -> Res
I'm adding a motherboard chipset block and a vreg block. The chipset block is the problem. The tubing just barely fits between two...
So I've went and purchased another 15" retina Mac pro. I like the design, the OS, the portability, and the light gaming that I can do with it. I can spin up a couple of VMs and still have room to do whatever.
That being said, I'll most likely return it and wait for the latest model of Mac...
I used to shop at frozen CPU but I can't seem to check out of their cart. Anyone know where I can get water cooling gear? I don't know of any other decent sites.
So I do computer repair for my church (volunteer) and as a side job. I do most of my work on the go. I'm looking to get a laptop towards the end of this year that would be able store a lot of data for temporary purposes (backing up someone's hard drive), carrying a lot of tools, ISOs, things...
(So given the system in my signature) I just added a 4th Titan I picked up used and I'm looking to "finish" this PC. My temps so far seem to be doing well, but I did buy a dual pump top and another pump because I plan on adding some custom made Vreg and chipset blocks and I'm worried about flow...
So I've had my distilled water running a kill coil for about a year now. Fluid still seems to be the same color (didn't think it would change). It runs in a basement with no sunlight whatsoever. No coloring has been added to the fluid and the tubing is black and not transparent.
I'm about to...
