I really like these new Vengeance Line of cases. I hope the side panel issue the plagued the initial stock of 550D cases doesn't affect these cases as it appears they will use the same side panel latch system.
I have not taken mine out of the box yet, but if you google "Corsair 550D Review" you can watch the video of the Corsair rep discussing about/taking apart the chassis and then you be the judge for yourself.
I too just read that user review on Newegg, and if he's not a member of this forum then that's even worse news. I need to open my box and see what the status is of my 550D. Redbeard has stated that the early adopters will be taken care of, but he has also stated that spare parts for the 550D's...
This is my first time buying a corsair case and I am looking forward to installing my main system into it. Usually I opt for flashier cases with a more aggressive styling, but this time I'm going for a more refined look.
If the dimensions are the same for both side panels (and why wouldn't they be?) I wonder if swapping the side panels would do the trick? Something is not sitting flush if there is rattling. If Im not mistaken didnt another forum user try this? Did he have success? I honestly forget.
I'm a little worried too dude. I have mine still in the box and won't be able to install my main rig until Sunday. Perhaps I can just install the "bare bones" for the sake of powering up the system to get a feel for the side panels.
I have my 550D but I won't be able to install my rig into it until Sunday so I will post my impressions then. It will be interesting to find out about the results of the audit if Redbeard is able to discuss such findings. Hopefully this side panel issue is not too wide spread and simply a result...
Ordered mine this morning, and I must say I was suprised that it was in stock at Newegg considering what the Corsair rep had stated before about its availability. I must say that the styling of this case is not what I usually go for as I generally like the more aggressive styling but perhaps...
I read a lot of case reviews on a bevy of websites, and in my honest opinion, one of the better review sites is OCC. More often the not the author compares the case they are reviewing to several others in the same price range to give the end user an idea of its cooling performance vs. the rest...
The case offers a lot of “bang for the buck" and it sports a lot of great features although the stock cooling is mediocre at best. That's the one trade off for a $60 case is Cool Master had to skimp on the number of included fans. The HAF 912 can be a great case with the right cooling, and...
Stick with DDR2 800; you'll seem no performance increase by switching to DDR3 since modern processors directly access main memory only about 1% of the time anyway.
Sigma, is Raidmax's sister company so to speak. Raidmax develops cases under both the Raidmax brand and the Sigma brand. The new Sigma case that you speak of is for all intents and purposes a CM 690 clone with a different front bezel, as well as some other small differences. Company's rebrand...
Great idea and I give Kudos for Antec for trying something new, but this case will more then likely end up being a niche product. This would be an ideal case (using the term case loosely of course) for someone who tests hardware on a regular basis, and as a result needs to swap out parts an...
Firstly, I never said that you're retarded. I was just stating my opinion of the chassis. I've never been a fan of Lian Li cases because they look too "Plain Jane" to me, and I'm after the more "Flashy" look. Lian Li cases have awesome cooling and interior layouts I'm just turned off by the...
Actually I do. I never said that Lian Li cases are poorly constructed nor did I say that Lian Li cases have poor cooling because Lian Li cases are excellent examples of engineering, however I just happen to think that it looks like a refrigerator.
Sigh....... I don't understand why anyone bothers to post about a case that their excited about because everyone on these message boards spits out either one of two words: Lian Li or Cooler Master. There's no denying that Lian Li and Cooler Master make excellent products, however these products...
I seached a little more on google.com and found the solution. (Firstly, it has to do with AVG's Resident Shield). Without further ado here's the solution:
1) Launch AVD Anti-Virus program
2) Go to the Tools menu
3) Choose Advanced Settings
4) Select the Resident Shield option in the left...
A few days ago I loaded Warcraft III The Frozen Throne like I always do and after signing into Battle.Net my game was patched to the latest version. Since then I've had nothing but issues with the game (Let me explain in greater detail). The original error message I received was the following: "...

Here's an Athena Power case for $18.99 + shipping. Looks ok for the money and room for five hard drives. It's not a well known name brand but it does fit my budget. What are some of your thoughts on this case?
The Asus Vento A1 should be out soon, although it doesn't look like either the Vento 3600 nor the Vento 7700. I was looking to purchase a Vento 7700 although as another poster stated outside of finding one on ebay you more then likely won't find one at all. The Vento A1 does ship with 3X120mm...
The inside is too cramped, and with a bottom mounted PSU design cable management is going to be a nightmare. It's a sexy looking case, but the cramped nature of the case doesn't do it for me.
The Nzxt Alpha is a great case for the money, but it's almost impossible to fit extra long video cards. If you can wait a little bit yet the Nzxt Tempest is going to hit retail very soon and with six included fans it will most certainly be the best $99 dollar case on the market.
