concrete-core chokes and hardened MOSFETs
Running a GTX 750 ti, this would be a huge upgrade for me. Congrats on the celebration and thanks for the chance to win a killer card!
Actually I was surprised to see 500 gb SSD prices at the $200 mark. That's not a bad price, and I may pick one up late in the year as an upgrade over my 120 gb SSD I have right now as my boot drive.
Lots of people crapping over this release. I find it strange.
Windows 8 had a LOT of under the hood upgrades. 10 doesn't have as many upgrades as 8, but it brings back more of a "classic" desktop look, which I really like. The fact it's a free upgrade is nice as well. I've been using the...
I did a build this December where I admittedly skimped a little bit on the CPU and spent the extra money on a decent video card and extra RAM. Here's what I am running for now:
ASRock H-97 ITX board
Intel Pentium G3258 (overclocked to 3.8 ghz)
Geforce 750 ti
16 GB DDR3-1600 RAM
(other stuff...
Not worried about it being unlocked, tho I did look at that CPU.. This is going into an ITX case, a cooler master elite 130, and I wont be doing any over locking due to still not being comfortable with water cooling and the case design not allowing a large selection of CPU coolers.
This is prolly a dumb question but I have been out of the PC building world for about ten years or so....
My board is an ASRock B85M-ITX (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157390). The CPU I currently have picked out is the Pentium G3220...
Needing a portable Windows based tablet instead of my gaming handheld, so switching!
Would prefer one of Pro models of the Microsoft Surface (old Pro model is fine), but would also consider a Dell Venue Pro. The only caveat is that I need one that runs full Windows, not the RT version...
I'm not interested in the Shield Tablet, but I love my handheld Shield. Great system that has replaced all other gaming handhelds for me. I sold my Vita and 3DS because I never played them due to Shield.
If this is the only new Shield, I'm pretty disappointed. I love the original. it's turned into my handheld of choice. Many big-name games are on Android and supported, and the joypad mapper is easy to use for games that aren't supported. I enjoy this thing better than the 3DS or PSVita, and...
Having a weird problem. I own a Gateway SX2110G that I wanted to add more USB ports to. I ended up picking up this USB card off of Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F0EF99I/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. However, after I install it I can't even get to a BIOS splash...
I strongly disagree, this guy should have been fined for sure.
First of all, what about passengers? They should be allowed to use their phones in the passenger or back seat.
And what if this guy was in an accident, and couldn't call for help due to his jammer still working? What if he...
With this coming, I assume it's a given that the newer versions of 4 and After Years (which run on the same engine) are coming as well. While I already own the Android versions, I'll pick em up if they release on Steam just for the benefit of cloud saving.
Even after trying the 2 Microsoft fixes and the third party fix, my updates still don't install. They actually don't even download, the download stays at 0 percent, than it attempts to install and ends in a failed install.
So with everyone talking about just the 3 grand card, no one talked about the other news nvidia released at this, and I didn't even hear about it til today, but lots of news on the Shield came out as well.
Price drop to $199 from now til the end of April. 200 is a steal for this handheld...
We have what I think is a small company called New Wave. They are kinda hit and miss. Recently I upped my internet from 3 meg to 10 meg (better streaming for the wife and kids, nvidia grid on the shield for myself) and not only was it painless, the lady actually dropped our bill 2 dollars...
It's called ripoff artists. I pledged to support the iControlpad 2. The guy more or less took the money and ran. Until they get some form of security in place, I won't support any kickstarter again.
I use both a laptop and a desktop. I use tablets and phones as well, but I doubt they will replace the expandability or sheer power of a true desktop anytime soon.
Figured it out after a couple hours of fumbling. I kept overlooking setting called CSM. Once it was enabled, I could see my BIOS again. Never had anything happen like this before, but I am still new to these UEFI setups.
I have a Gateway SX2110G that I have installed an XFX Radeon HD6570 card in. The card performs great, and really boosted my FPS in all of my Steam games, making many more recent games like Skyrim playable. However, I cannot get a display until Windows boots up. Neither my monitor or...
No need to ditch this system. The games make the system, not the other way around.
I would push to not drop the tablet controller, but release a Wii-U SKU (hehe) without the tablet. A Wii U packaged with a standard controller, than users can get the tablet seperate if they want it. Than...
This doesn't really surprise me a lot. Before the steam machine hoopla, steam used a LOT of pictures of the Logitech F710 controller in conjunction with Big Picture mode. I own an F710 and think it has benefits over a 360 controller. It uses an almost identical layout but has a better D-Pad...
Been a while since I have done this. I have a 2013 Gateway SX2110G I got for a bargain (100 bucks for the computer that included a 19.5 inch monitor), and would like to get a better graphics card. I am limited by the requirements that I need a low profile card and one that doesn't draw a ton...
Well, I found a s3020n dirt cheap (50 dollars), working and just missing the hard drive. I already had a 1tb drive I slapped in that works, and would like to turn this into a cheap HTPC for the living room. Maybe use it for light steam gaming (nothing intensive or modern) and some emulated...
Like the title says, my next build is gonna be a micro itx. My last build was an atx, its so old now its video card is AGP if that tells you anything. So, I need this thing to be my gaming rig for awhile, along with streaming via plex and being a media player. Also, looking at a cost of less...
So not only is this guy being applauded for a criminal act, the person who had their phone tossed wasn't even talking on it, just looking something up on it. The guy was whining because the phone was distracting him.
I can see if someone was talking on their phone during a show, but just...
Best reason? Well, I quit my job today that was 50 hours a work week for one that is a 30 hour workweek, so I'll have time on my hands to play it. Also, Torchlight 1 I thought was a good game, and lets face it, Diablo 3 wasnt what I wanted it to be.
