have you actually looked at the files on the computer? what if its just a bunch of 8th grade book reports... you would have just spent all this time for nothing
if i lose something and cant find it after a week I consider it gone forever... I highly doubt there is anything on this computer from 10+ years ago the person wants/needs or has written off as gone.
So for my main TV i have the UN64D8000 Samsung plasma... its been an amazing tv. Had it now since Feb 2012 it was a $3600 tv. The other day me and my girlfriend were watching the TV and we heard a small pop and the tv picture went away. When it came back the bottom 1/2 of the screen was all...

lol go ahead and remove it :) this is the tool you need to get the little collars off the wire
I may or may not be a cable tech from another company ;)
Don't think it's the tv, everything with the old drivers was perfectly fine. Where can you adjust these filters?.... nothing has changed just the driver. Same video card even the same hdmi cable. Might just have to find an old ATI driver to see if it changes.
updated to Beta drivers and it fixed it self it looks like
EDIT: Not fixed... for some reason it changed to a higher DPI... looks better so I might just deal with it for now
Recently (last few months) did a display driver update and when it was done all the text and everything just looks bad... almost like it has a halo around it... just not clear. So after searching all over the place I found nothing, so i reverted the driver back and it was all good again...
ahhh gotcha... yeah that would be a concern since we need to register every hit to the buypens.com to keep track. Now these sites are most likely small local businesses that don't get a lot of traffic to begin with. I think I still need to do a lot of research on this topic. Like I said this...
ok... really would depend on all the websites then so it would work for some probably not all. Excellent thanks for the help
dont think that would really matter, I think the main idea is to see that 100 people went to it based of the mailer, dont think they are worried if 100 people go and 40...
I did see that awstats showed "time on site" which could be nice.
its going to be 1 server that is going to host just this "redirect" page really. The permanent redirection... would I have to change anything on the actual pens.com host? because that type of stuff we wouldn't really have access...
thats most likley what we will be using to do this, this is exactly what we would need really nothing overly complicated.
sounds easy but I seems that once we get it all running for 1... the issue is scaling it 500-1000 times...
edit: awstats looks perfect! only issue again is scaling it for...
for the first part... the company is gonna be sending out mailer advertisements and they want to prove to the customers that people actually read the mail and visit the website... so basicly they dont care how many people are going to pens.com or anything else... only want to track exactly what...
yeah I knew of google analytics, havent looked to deeply into it as this project might be scaling up to about 500+ websites... (its for an advertising company... they want to prove to clients that there advertising is working) So if i have to create an account for each its gonna take a while lol
Not sure if this should be here or the networking forum.
What im trying to do is setup a webserver that only hosts a redirect file, reason is for advertising. We want to be able to see how well its working and track access to that redirect (like a counter).
Ill give an example...
I know im coming back late in the game here but i did have the bluetooth version as well.... was terrible... so happy with my k400's and im sure you will be too... if you havent got them already you will see the size isnt all that large

I now have 3 of these in my house... perfect and not expensive
are any of your drives SSD's... i had this board and for some reason randomly it wouldnt post and the cause was my Intel SSD drive... put a regular drive in and it booted.
Roku/Apple tv would work for about $99 but its not as fun as the Pi... I personally like feeling acomplished putting something together and having it work. That being said, ive had my pi for about a week and im having a lot of fun with it.
if you like to mess with stuff... get a pi
if you...
Its good that you feel this way, more sellers should be like this... however 3 weeks is plenty... if UPS shows it was dropped off or he confirmed he at least got it then I think you have waited long enough. Whenever I sell stuff on Ebay I give people a week to test and return. After that its...
All i need is a mobo that does DDR3 and is cheap... really cheap... looks like newegg still sells one for about $60 so anyone with anything cheaper than that... ill probably just pick that one up
Customer of mine left me a dead Lenovo that has a e7500 and 4gb ddr3 in it....only thing that doesn't work in the computer is the motherboard (all the USB ports are dead?? It's strange)
I'm putting together a golf simulator in my home and figured I could reuse these parts to build a machine...
Been tasked with figuring this out. having to replace a computer with a laptop (only has usb... cant change this...) Need a way to plug a firewire camera into it (also cant change this...)
I see "firewire to usb cables" but see lots of reviews that say they dont work. What is my solution...
ive been using eyefinity for a while and overall im just kinda meh about it... some games require editing files to get it to work correctly or another program. the games it does work are kinda cool but nothing amazing... at first you might think it is... I was in the beta for TOR and ill tell...
not a dead os... it might not have the support others do but its not dead... HP just came out with an update in the last few weeks and are working on the new "Synergy" os or whatever
HP is leaving the market hardware market, they recently changed there minds (probably wont see another tablet...
