Install a second network card in each of the machines. Then get another router. Then just have an Intranet.
Also, make sure that all of your machines are set to the same workgroup if they are M$ based.
I need to know how to volume level 8 different cd's. They are all different levels. I know how to use Wave Hammer is SF8 and created an appropriate preset, but is there anyway to use it en masse on approx 100 songs? I can only use it on one clip at a time.
I have an odd question. On the box of the BFG 7800gtx it says that it requires a 400W power supply with 24Amps, but the power supply that I am using Antec True Control V2.0 520W is only 19Amps. Will I encounter any problems or do I need to find some other power supply?
Hey, I am an employee at a small business, my boss gave me a camera to setup and focus in on the till area. It is a network camera, and I set it up to be on the local area network at our store. So now the address I put in to get to the camera is 192.168.0.38. Now what my boss also wants me to do...
Hello. I know what I want to do, but i don;t know how to do it
What i want to be able to do, is share my files privately. So I can give a username and password to someone, and they have access to my files. I have a router so whatever I need has to get around that.
If you are just going to back a couple of gigs up, then use DVD-RAM. It might be expensive to get onto, but it is by far the best, as windows looks at it as if it were another hardrive, so you can read and write to your hearts content!
I would buy the Asus board, simply because of manufacurer loyalties. They have been good to me the last 5 boards, so they will continue to get my business.
i would definatly go for the X2. Simply because it is 2 FX-53 cores, compared to 1 FX-57 core. You probably won't notice a large difference in your gameplay, or whatever the plan for the system is.
Doing a nice cable job takes time. Especially if your just starting out. Personally I think that you get better the more often you do it. Basically you need to take a look at what you have for HDD, FDD, ROM Drives, and base you major cableing on that. The majority of what are called "messy"...
Hey I want to join. I am Mo/R Lvl8 but that will probably grow by the end of the night. My name is
Seer Qui
I am currently at Sanctus Sanitarium. I really want to get out of that place and get to Lions Arch.
Try googleing CPU-Z. This handy little executeble allows you to see all sorts of information on your system. Anything to the Name of the Core to how much ram in each slot. It should give you a model name. Although I'm not sure if it will work so well with a proprietary system. But give it a try!
I'm pretty sure that someone who is verifying what a friend said about making a server with a 9800 Pro, 2 intel processors(what type by the way? Xeon would be my guess), probably has no idea what they are talking about.
I am also pretty sure that he means playing the games, as he talks about...
Sounds allot like old school mainframes, where all you had was a monochrome monitor and a keyboard to a workstation. It has somewhat progressed into the actuall workstation computer. Another thought on what might come to the PC is like in startrek voyager, where they have biological...
I think that we just be continually going larger(logically) and smaller(physically). My best guess is that it will continually stay the same with whoever wants to spend the money gets the elite. Although the standard may change, the principals will remain. Instead of bragging about how many FPS...
I agree with AOM. It is probably better to go with 2 of the same drives to avoid the hassel. I can imagine if you had stripping going on with a 40gb and a 80gb drive. Needless to say, it wouldn't be very pretty after the 40 is filled.
Sounds okay.I had a problem using older ram in a new motherboard, turns out the older ram wasn't 800 like the board required, so make sure thats not a big problem.
Basically all a centrino is is, a very small thin, light mobile processser. The nice thing about them is that they have longer battery life as perviosly stated, and you also get a larger cache. Most likely a 2meg
wow, thats not something that you see everyday. My best advice is to call a 1-800 number that they give you. If not then return the game to where you bought it. Most places will take the game back, if there is a manufactuing defect. I'm not sure about the place, but to me this sounds like a...
I saw a LED flashlight in a store, they were superbright, they used 3 LED's.
I really don't think that battery life should be a problem, after all they are LED's!
You could probably do it, just the problem of HOW you do it. You would need to be like an Electronics technition, or have some of that type of background
Well, the thing is that the boards are comeing out with allot of other things as well as SLI. For instance most of the boards are comeing with 4 SATA ports standard. Allot of the board have built-in RAID chips as well. Not to mentions all the other things that are "standard"; 1394, 6 channel...
Yeah they make lots of stuff like that. Check out the Hardcano by Thermaltake. Another cool one is the Aerogate by Coolermaster. Personally, I like the Aerogate 2. It changes color and does a whole bunch of neat things.
Im not really sure, but something is telling me that you can, just don't setup an array. Maybe read the motherboard manual(boring I know) and check the manufacturers website.
Just another aspect that Microsoft is trying to control in the IT world. It's actually a shame. I feel sorry for all the people who think that Microsoft is the greatest thing since the remote control. Thank goodness I have all the right chemicals in my brain! :p
