Common... a 5% difference between Android and iPhone... that's pretty much inconclusive considering the sample. I'm not surprised that Blackberry was 10% less than the other two though... it probably has an older demographic than the other two phones.
Or... the drone malfunctioned like the Government said. Apply Occam's Razor here... people go out of their way to not believe the government sometimes.
Ok... so since you changed the goal posts to 'Iran was never the aggressor' instead of 'Iran has never fought a war outside their borders', I have to ask how you feel about U.S./Israeli covert ops in Iran or even this drone being in their airspace. If you consider those acts of aggression, I...
I would think that the autopilot would trust the altimeter more than the GPS for altitude readings. The code would probably start raising some huge flags when you have vast differences between your GPS altitude than your altimeter.
Oh and the other thing I forgot to mention, in order to land the craft in another precise location, you would need to know the exact coordinates of the craft at any time. In order to delay the gps signals the proper amount. I would say at best, they could force it to crash somewhere in a pretty...
Military GPS is encrypted. There is a link on the third page of the article that sites a paper claiming that you could spoof military gps by simply repeating the encrypted signals, since GPS is calculated based on the time that it takes for the signal to get from satellite to receiver. The...
I'd like to see a google image search statistics every time an article about a unknown woman is posted. I think everyone's first reaction was "I wonder if Zuckerberg has a hot sister?"
wow... after seeing the video I'm quite impressed. Stability still looks like a bit of an issue in the video, especially if you were trying to fly-by-camera, but it works well from the 3rd person perspective.
One rotor? How do they keep it stable enough to take any useful video without an anti-torque rotor? Maybe that's why the article doesn't have any video.
hmm...
Really it depends on what you use Netflix for. I use it for Blu-Ray Movies and Streaming TV shows, I watch the occasional streaming movie, but really the selection is pretty crappy. In September I'll be using ad supported Hulu for the TV shows and Red Box for the Blu-Rays. I'm also keeping an...
That's great that you think it's an awesome deal. You are right that the $6 increase won't break my budget by a long shot. But just because it doesn't break my budget doesn't mean there aren't better deals available now.
How many people are gonna get injured/die, while someone is trying to show off this new technology to their friends? Especially once you throw alcohol into the mix.
Lycidas is right, the article correctly labels this man as a hacker, what he did is social engineering. Kevin Mitnick is one of the most famous names in hacking and social engineering was his primary method of illegal entry into computer systems. Oftentimes its easier to exploit the human factor...
Definitely considering dropping Netflix services over this. I use instant streaming quite a bit for TV shows, and I get maybe 2-3 Blu-Ray's per month. At these rates though I will probably drop both services and go with free Hulu and maybe Red Box for the few Blu-rays I was to see.
This part puzzles me a bit. How narrow is the air gap? Is there any thermal substance between the two? Is there any lubrication between the two? What happens if dust starts collecting in this gab. What happens if the axle/bearing is bent a little? Seems like a lot of stuff could go wrong here...
That would be innovative

Supporting these companies is NOT the same as supporting censorship. Censorship would be if the government stepped in and prevented the media from publishing information released by WikiLeaks. All these companies are private companies. They can choose who they want to deal with and who they do...
Is it just me, or could someone just download the picture and re-share it anywhere on the web anyway. Who even cares if they can re-share within their circles. This is like Anthony Weiner thinking a pic he sent to someone by e-mail couldn't be shared with the rest of the world.
U.S. Army has plenty of MRAP variants that are pretty equivalent to that Marauder. The problem with that class of vehicles is that they are simply too large and too heavy for certain environments. The replacement for the HMMWV needs to be just as maneuverable as the HMMWV was, while addressing...
Where is the turret ring on this thing? Not much good unless you can mount a M2 or M240B up top with a 360 degree swivel. And all of those roof panels are WAY too small. Good luck squeezing through those once you get your IOTV and Chest Rig on.
My point is that law enforcement can already do this in any state. Arizona just mandates that they have to ask for documentation if they think the suspect is illegal.
