Yeah, 5.5 does have a web client & its fairly decent, but I haven't spent a lot of time using it. I probably use vCenter once a week on average and most of ours are running 5.1, but hopefully that will change in the near future.

Yes. I've held both quite a bit. No doubt it has a nice keyboard for a tablet, but imagine sitting indian style on the floor, with the SP3 on your lap trying to type. I'm not saying it can't be done, but its definitely a drawback compared to a laptop.

I would also go with a tower-type server, but if you have to have it secured to the wall, go with the mount that wizdum recommended.
