I Ended up Buying the Ergotron LX Sit-Stand mount and it is rated to support this size and after setting it up it perfectly holds the monitor fully extended with no sag. It is much more beefy than the standard LX mount.
Could you post your brightness and contrast settings when you took those pictures?
My BLB is much more noticeable even though i am going form 75(default) to 42
I feel you are evaluating the monitor unfairly, due to not taking responsibility of your choice on its usecase and your choice on video adapter features. As you state you are going from 3x 1600p monitors to a single 1440p monitor, did you not consider this before you decided to condense to a...

These are the options that we have for this monitor
Does anyone have a video on splitting the screen size and what options we will have? The LG has some pretty nifty options and wanted to see this feature in actions on the DELL.

Okay, so i my monitor today and it is beautiful, but there is 1 red dead pixel in the middle of the screen.
what is the process, cause as i read in dells ToS it needs to be 15 dead pixels...
What do i do?
i thoguht about getting the 3008 but i am going to go with a 2709 as it seems to be a much better size for my desk and how far away i sit.
one thing is that it seems that their return policy/dead pixel policy is unclear. what are best practices if i get dead pixels or bad banding?
2709W...
So do i need SLI to run the 3008WFP? while i don't mind the cost i do mind the micro-stuttering that SLI can generate. (reason i didn't get a 295)
Also if i go with the 3008WFP i need a 2nd video card for a 2nd monitor right? (since the 3008WFP uses Dual-DVI)
since you own one of these monitors i am wondering if you could help me.
So these monitors 3008WFP & 2709W have 1:1 pixel mapping? if so doe that mean that they will always run at the native resolution but will add black bars to adjust to fit the image.
i just want to be sure that the...
I have 3 questions related to the the 3008WFP & 2709W:
1. I plan on using my monitor as both a PC gaming monitor and something I would hook up to my HD-DVR (720p) & X360(1080p) too. I read that both the 3008WFP & 2709W have 1:1 pixel mapping, does this mean that I will not get a image distort...
Reading comprehension 101 "i love how your review says avg. price of 8800GT is $293.00"
@ XamediX i understand that companies are selling it $75-150 dollars over MSRP but that isn't the cards fault MSRP is skewed cause how "popular" it is. Why do they use the 38xx MSRP price?
Looking at...
i love how your review says avg. price of 8800GT is $293.00...that is utter BS! was this review sponsored by ATI? You can go on EVGA's site right now and buy in-stock a $269.00 stock-clocked 8800GT.
Also did anyone miss the fact that the 8800GT is running at 1600x1200 with most settings on...
Currently I have a Samsung 215tw and it looks awesome on my pc and pretty good using a progressive scan DVD player. But when playing an xbox/ps2 at 480p with the component inputs it doesnt looks that great.
So do any of you think I should go and get a HDTV 16:9 TV and use this for a...
I just got a 215tw and it looks great at its native resolution but when I connect a PS2 or XBOX to it is quality degrades. I do understand that if it is not running at its native resolution the image will be somewhat off/blurry.
First questions is if I buy a X2VGA 2 will this help the image...
