    Razer Diamondback Thoughts/Mini-Review

    Nice review man. :) I've been wanting to check one of these out. I mean, what's another $10 over a normal logitech brand optical mouse? I have no qualms with that. >>edit<< Eek, wrong price I was thinking of. Still though, for a hardcore gamer, thats still not THAT bad.

    AXP Barton Pads?

    I never used a pad on any of my XP CPU's, though they did come with some. I'd think they'd interfere a tad with thermal cooling. If you're careful enough, you don't need them, as it's very easy to put a HSF on without cracking the core, but as someone said, if you are paranoid about it, check...

    Half Life 2 by Metahedron

    Nice mouse mod. I was wondering though. Is there any purpose to you randomly using a large word here and there, as even though I know what you mean, are they really necessary? I could do it all day long in normal conversation, but there isn't a point to it unless you're speaking to a professor.

    nForce4 Pci slots x1, do they have backwards compatbility?

    If they release a good soundcard for PCI-E, then yeah. I don't know if they have any currently, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. I wish nVidia would just include "Soundstorm" with the nF4 boards.

    proud new owner of a Asus v9999GT 128MB

    Thats debatable. I mean, I'd rather fork out the extra 40 to get a Leadteck version thats got a big ass HSF on it, and is already up 150MHz on the DDR settings, and will probably do more, while it's not entirely guaranteed the 128MB "GT" will make it that far and beyond. Not to mention the...

    proud new owner of a Asus v9999GT 128MB

    No, I wasn't talking to you, as I did my research, as always, and the 128MB version of the v9999GT is a 350MHz core, and a 700MHz memory, meaning it's the exact same speeds as the regular 6800 card, with all the pipes unlocked.

    proud new owner of a Asus v9999GT 128MB

    Even though it's labeled as a GT, that thing is nothing more than a 16 pipe version of a regular 6800 card. Same frequencies and everything.

    Alienware case on Ebay going for 400$!!!

    I usually wouldn't spend less than $80 on a case. Sorry, but when I'm working in a case, nothing pisses me off worse than shitty build material that slices and dices my hands, in most of the low cost cases.

    3000+ ----> 3700+

    I wouldn't recommend that upgrade. In the money that you spend on the CPU alone to do that, you could get yourself a 3200+ 939, and a MSI Neo2 Platinum board, and be out of the 754 lineup all together. Thats not to say you're going to see a significant boost in speed, because you wont. It's...

    Alienware case on Ebay going for 400$!!!

    At current time, the chances of that case actually being "sold" isn't very good, considering some asshole with no feedback decided to spoof bid on some of my stuff just to win and ditch. I doubt very much if he wins, he's gonna pony up.
