Batman AC:
Probably just me, but I'd love to see a BtAS texture option for the whole game, complete with red skies.
Saint's Row the Third:
Transformers: War for Cybertron:
MW3:
These were all captured with the built-in screen capture function included...
I don't think so. However, if the game has a Steam Code (ex. Saints row the third it was $10 cheaper on Amazon then Steam at the time), I just give that code to my friend and he activates it. Not sure about non-steam games though.
Gifting is something that should be available in all Gaming...
I'm interested but don't know (how to use it) / (what it is)
As of yet, I haven't used this feature as I'm still scared about overclocking (I've seen way too many dead early AMD cpus with the lead pencil trick) and I live in a very warm environment.
Sad to see this form of DRM come back. Last year I did an editorial style sketch about that, and I'd hoped that it would never be relevant again. Thanks for killing my hopes Ubisoft. :(
Driver was on my undecided list (maybe during a Steam sale), but not now.
I usually queue up titles on the PC with Instant Watcher, and will use he PS3 to play them if the titles are in HD.
I've noticed that there are far more titles in HD available for the consoles than the PC, which is very vexing at times. I do have a 360 as well, but I don't have a gold...
@Dennis4k - I loaded the Hi-Res pack for DA2 as well, but it doesn't look as good as yours. And I'm still not sure if the less than 30sec install time for a 1GB file was correct. :(
I was interested in the MS X6, but HOLY HELL, the shipping to Hawaii is horrendous! Cheapest is $30.77 for USPS, which puts the price at $58.76 after the discount.
I'd recommend Enslaved as well. I really liked it and the character interaction was excellent. Sadly, I don't have a lot of 360 games, as I tend to wait for them to come to the PC, so that's the only one I can think of.
Just hit level 30 and it was astonishing at how many quests popped up. As a mostly solo player, it was nice to see solo quests which can still earn you marks for gear.
This is making my wallet hurt. Just got AC2, Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale, Bioshock 2 for myself, gifted Defense Grid and Lara Croft to friends.... and I haven't even paid my electric bill yet. :(
Game just got a hefty update (2+GBs) a couple of days ago. The UI has been changed, some of the temp voices have been replaced with actual actors (Corey Burton as Brianiac) and emotes have been added as well. One of the cosmetic options they've added is the ability to re-color your gear or...
For me it would of been Dragon age Origins, as I didn't pick it up until Feb. or so. So I went with my second favorite PC Game of the year that I played, Mass Effect 2.
Likewise I did not mind the button mashing either. I'll have to try it with a controller this weekend and see if it plays better. I've only played for a couple of hours last night, but I had way more fun all the time I played FFXIV.
Here's an example of my horrendous button mashing technique...
Heh, I was just about to cancel my account and this news pops up. Too funny.
Hopefully this 'new direction' will help make the game not only playable, but fun.
DCUO - All in game settings on max (that I can see), however one of the texture options only had a medium setting for its maximum. My naming skills are underwhelming. :P
Hanging with the head honcho.
Yep, Steam sales don't help me at all. They just add to my backlog. Another thing that added to it was getting a 1080p lcd, which made most of my PS2 backlog (FFXII, Xenosaga 1-3) look like crap.
And the weird thing about quitting WoW, I'm seem to have less time to play games. Go figure.
Thanks for the info, wreck!
Funny thing is just after that I got a beta key. Haven't really played it yet, 13GB does take a while to download. The character creator definitely needs more options. I need to make me a Psylocke clone. :P
I need to get back to this game. My main problem with it so far, is that I keep wanting to eat popcorn and drink a soda while I'm watching it, I mean playing. Then again I'm only about 6hrs in or so.
I use the PS3 over my PC for netflix, as it seems more channels are available in HD on the PS3 side over the PC side. But I cue up my queues on the PC using http://instantwatcher.com/.
Love some of the setups in here.
My droid takes crummy picks, but here's my HTPC.
Normally, my DNS-323 would be on the bottom shelf, but it's 1.5TB drive crashed and I'm awaiting an RMA.
Thanks for the info guys!
Does it allow for the user to create multiple characters ala CoH/CoV or is it FF style where we have to pay for each new character you create?
The last game I was completely absorbed with was Dragon Age Origins. Loved that game to death. Before that would probably be Persona 4, mostly due to be PS3 eating my PS2 save files at 90+ hours of gameplay, then having to start all over from scratch.

Had to do the custom profile to see mine:

A lot of those I really need to play one of these decades. ;)
