Finally got a response. I really don't have much of a need for a 64M card. It will suffice for web browsing but it blows for casual gaming/older gaming compared to the x600 128M card. Textures especially. At least he finally replied.

I've e-mailed him twice. He hasn't replied. I'm going to give him another day or two, but I don't like being ignored, especially not after this.

I didn't run any formal benchmarks, as I was a little upset about being sent the wrong card. Oblivion runs at about 15-20 fps with textures in the mode that I like to refer to as "childhood fingerpainting mode".. Basically it runs at a semi-acceptable speed, but the game is hideous...

I got a similar response when I inquired as to why I haven't recieved my card. He said he shipped the last of them out yesterday.

I bit. My old backup video card (Geforce 2 MX400) is really showing his age. Even if it is just a 64 bit memory interface, it's a hell of a lot better than my old backup. The guys listing says its 128 bit, so I'm holding out hope.

Go buy a 19" rosewill from the egg. Really good reviews, 3 year parts/labor/backlight warranty, 8ms response time. Obviously it depends on what you want to use it for, but it's about the same price, much better response, and you aren't giving compussr money to boot! Just my .02.

I don't mind it at all. Was it kind of a bitch to put together? Sure. But I paid 10 bucks for it. It doesn't look god awful and it runs my computer at an acceptable temp. Only thing I need to do is get a replacement fan for the included one, becuase it's a touch noiser than I would like.

Great TV for the money BTW. I bought one of these back in November. Thankfully I was able to convince the CompUSSR employees to credit me the difference. Really good picture quality, direct VGA or DVI hookup so you can run your media center box on it.

I understand the concept of supply and demand. I just find it hard to believe that the value of an athlon 64 3000+ has gone up almost $20 in the last week and a half (its at $161 today).

Newegg has been slowly creeping their prices up on a lot of stuff lately. 3000+ Athlon 64 939 was $144 end of last week, it's like $157 now.

I'm pretty sure they don't stack. I tried with my video card I just bought on ebay, used the 10 percent first.. then tried the other two and it was a no go. Saved $16 bucks though, can't beat that.

Don't waste your money. I bought one of these from CompUSSR a few years back. Took me about 2 weeks to get used to the keys, and by the time I did, the damn thing broke. Best part was, I wasn't being rough with it at all. The WORST that I did to it was roll it up to bring to LANs...

If you have the choice, pick it up. I've ordered a number of things from CompUSSR online before, and if it's a remotely decent deal, my order always ends up getting canceled out from under me. Don't waste your time waiting for it, drive out and pick it up if you're gonna buy.
