For sale is a spare Creative Labs Sound Blaster Extigy.
This is a USB sound card that can be used as a standalone 5.1 decoder. Perfect for use with a 360/PS3 system. I use mine with the Turtle Beach HPA2 headset. This is the best setup you can get for Modern Warfare 2. Google it...
Can't edit my original post...
Anyhow I'm surprised that it has not been mentioned that certain revisions of the 360 fail more than others. The launch unit is most prone to the infamouse red ring but as MS released newer revisions the failure rate has gone down. The most current revision, the...
iPhone has push built in.. you can do it via Exchange or MobileMe. If you wanted background app support you can do it via 3rd party support.. which I should say is very strong with the iPhone :P
Nice black Xperia. It looks good and it sounds like it's worth every penny. I got my Touch Pro last week and I REALLY don't like it.. battery life sucks and it gets hot.. I already got Mighty Rom on there along with Advanced Config and Diamond Tweak.. the OS is laggy at times and the build...
I'll like to say I never realized there's so many S60 owners on the board... let alone ATT subscribers with S60 >.>
I'm confused about the unsigned apps part and missing out on the s60 community. On my N95/85 there's a hack to disable the system from checking if apps are signed. Once the hack...
I wouldn't expect AMD to release a "true" dual core anytime soon unless its for a low power platform (IE netbooks). Right now the market is moving towards quad core and it would be a waste of money for AMD to design a new "true" dual core for the desktop..
Data plan or no data plan? If you getting a data plan it makes sense to get the Fuze as it has a bigger and higher resolution screen for web browsing. If you're not getting a data plan and you want ATT to subsidize your phone you're stuck with the E71x.
There's nothing wrong with the 3rd...

It's a nice phone with or without a data plan. It has a dedicated GPS receiver so you can install Garmin XT and get it to work without having to subscribe to a data plan. The...
The "soft" keyboards are pretty much standard aren't they? If you don't like the one included you can always install another one.
To answer your question here is the Diamond keyboard: http://images.wmexperts.com/articleimages/2008/moved/08/05/HTC_Touch_Diamond_Keyboard1.png
Nice, just now saw the picture of the N95-3, photobucket is blocked at work. Yes that's a RAZR and I almost bought the Xperia last week. There was a sale on the black one and it was quite tempting. Since you bought one it would be interesting to see your take on it, especially since you're...
Looks like we both went from the N95 to the N85. Did you get your Xperia yet? I really want a qwerty phone now and the Xperia is on my short list of phones to look at..
There are many chipsets for 775 BUT compatibility varies. You have chipsets that only supported the single core Pentium 4, chipsets that added Pentium D support, chipsets that added Core 2 Duo support, and chipsets that added Core 2 Quad support. If you're not confused yet there's chipsets that...
Was there a change log with the 1.B2 BIOS? I just picked up the KN9 SLI yesterday for $14.99. They also had the 4400+ 65w Brisbane for $39.99. A pretty nice upgrade for my older Pentium D setup.
I forgot to mention did you try setting the memory to 2T? It'll work at 533 but it will be slower.
CAS settings should be 5-5-5-15 or looser for your memory. If that setting doesn't work you can try 6-6-6-20 just to check.
Another thing to check would be the FSB:Memory divider. Make sure...
I've had my PS3 for 6 months and the only issues I had were when "hot" games first came and the servers couldn't handle the initial load (such were the case with Warhawk, COD4, and R6V2.) The server issues weren't attributed to the PSN though as I believe developers are responsible for online...
I take it you don't have a spare 775 cpu lying around?
Let me get this straight, the title of your thread says the CPU fan won't spin but in reality your PC won't POST in the first place?
Well if you're not going to try to decypher the POST beeps your only recourse would be to buy a CPU from a...
Chances of a fried CPU is pretty rare. You need to listen to the post message and figure out what it's telling you.
EDIT: just noticed you bought the CPU used... that changes everything :o unless the cpu was abused it's unusual for a newer CPU to just stop working.
You haven't bought the other parts yet have you? If not I highly suggest you go to newegg to check out their pricing. You should find it quite satisfactory.
Also why the 8600GTS? It's overpriced for what you get. It's neither good for gaming nor for a HTPC.
QFT. I'm a AMD fan myself but if you're seeking performance/low power consumption Intel holds the crown. But if you want to stick with AMD that's cool. We just making sure you understand this.
and why are you buying from Tigerdirect? Have you checked out http://www.newegg.com? They have a lot...
As long as the CPU is properly seated you won't fry the CPU unless there's something wrong with the motherboard (ie. mobo supply too much vcore). The newer Intel CPUs will throttle if it gets too hot and removing the heatsink while stress testing won't kill the CPU, not that I recommend you test...
So can you get into the BIOS? I'm not sure if your Gigabyte board this feature but mine has a auto CPU fan control option that ramps the fan up only when the CPU gets warm. This is assuming your PC boots in the first place of course.
Some helpful info..
1) Newegg has this payment option "Choose Newegg.com Preferred Account* as your payment option to make no payments for up to 6 Months."
2) Office 2007 Ultimate for $60 - http://www.microsoft.com/education/ultimatesteal.mspx
you have to be a university student though.
The 40GB PS3's cell processor is 65nm but the RSX GPU is still 90nm. I found it fishy that the 40GB model consumed dramatically less power with the removal of PS2 BC..

I was under the impression the Q6600's 2x 4MB L2 Cache is not completely shared by all 4 cores? Since it's slapped together one die can't access the other die's L2 cache? If not I apologize for not doing enough research on the matter :o
+1
I would extend this further by saying that AMD is having trouble keeping up with market demand and the fact that adding additional cache would lower yield; it would not make sense for AMD to release processors with more cache. While the current X2 is at a disadvantage performance wise, there...
The D807 is carried by AT&T.
If you have the USB cable then I would suggest making ringtones yourself. Just make a 30 second clip mp3 @ 96kbps using Audacity. If you don't want to go through the hassle of creating your own ring tones the only "free" alternative would be to download midi songs...
