THanks for the helpful reply, yes i mean a cooler for the chipset, and as I am sure you well know some of the larger heatsink+fan combos don't fit on all mobos.
Anyone have input on a quiet / decent performing cooler for the new asus board? I would have posted this in the cooling forum but it seemed like the people familiar with the asus would be perusing this forum.

Just tell them it started smoking, they will look up the things they can "repair" in the computer and find that isn't one of them so you will get a new monitor. If you don't want to lie engineer your monitor to start smoking :) hehe. My laptop actually started smoking, and i had the PSP...
somone sent me an email saying that the link i posted to was selling the comp for a hundred dollars cheaper than I. That computer doesn't come with the warranty which is 250 dollars, nor does it come witht he extra 512mb of ram. Sorry for any confusion.

Mickey, i think the point is that you can just buy a 2nd of your old card to get next gen"ish" speeds. I am not convinced the price premium on an SLI makes the whole thing worth it though
