I clicked the MoBo link you posted and at the bottom of that page, there was a CPU Support Compatibility link try that out and see if that helps, it seems as though it will inform you of the CPU(s ) that will work with that MoBo.

Basicly all I did was update the sound card drivers and what ever else the sound card needed, and I had HW mixing set to enabled within the game settings, once I Set HW mixing to OFF, the game no longer crashed. But your main issue is not getting good FPS, Im not sure how much the sound /...

Im not sure if this will help you out, but I think I corrected my issues, and it may have been due to the audio settings as well as the Sound settings in game. Either way try going to the F.E.A.R. Tech Support forums and see if the good peeps there maybe able to help out. And I agree...

Did you do the update that poped up when you first opened up the game, I also finished the game and want to play again and last week some time when I opened the game up I got a pop up message there is an update and took it. Not I to am having propblems with the game crashing.

I understand the VC clocked at 650/775 stock and VCPU is set at 1.4v, but what is just a wittle bit confusing :confused: , is that RivaTunner is not reporting that all and im only useing it to monitor the status of the VC. Could this mean that the VC is being under clocked, if so why & how...
