I don't honestly know if you can really "test" a logic board. The logic board for mac users is synonymous with a motherboard for the PC. Besides taking everything else off, disconnect the HD, etc etc, and just use the basics as you would for a PC, that's the best you can do. Next step is...

Not really much to tell. Supposedly the current version of Parallels allows the sharing of a native XP install. Meaning, if you are using bootcamp to load windows, if you are in OS X and you have parallels 3, you can boot that physical partition from parallels. It doesn't work yet with Vista...
