just bring this baby out as soon as possible, already got the fans and power supply sorted.
now what we need is a darn good mini itx ivy bridge board to go with this baby!
Altough it`s a bit wide for a mini, and bigger. It looks awesome! hopefully they go in production very soon.
This case would need a good mini atx board to go with it, unfortunately most mini boards at the moment are not that good, bar the asus h61, which you can not do overclocking...
very nice! I suppose that it`s a h60 cooler you are using? what motherbard are you using as well?
I wonder if the fan on the top of the case, configured as intake would be better then as exhaust? as the radiator is so close to it maybe direct cool air would help it even more?
I live in Turkey, there are many distributors especially ın Europe. However there are none in Turkey, and most European based companies I checked are not shipping overseas. couple of years ago I had ordered a lian-li case from US, arrived without damages though shipping costs is as much as...
I`m going to order this case, but I have just one question, as I live overseas and have it shipped from US will take some delivery time and empty my wallet even more.
As it stands out, I plan to use H60 on the rear of the case ( only 1 fan setup)
My question would be, in this case would...
are regular twinmos memory reliable for amd 64 platforms? they seem awfully cheap,
dual 512mb kit at cas 2.5/ costs around 120 euros. no heatspreaders on. planning on using it in msi k8n neo platinum. any feedback?
those are samsung memory chips and from what i know, they will at best hit 215 mhz at 2-2-2-5 timings but anymore then that you have to relax the timings. on the other hand you have 3400 at 2.4 ghz at base. which meann if u can even get it around 2.55 ghz it will be a bonus. so dont expect much...
i dont know how thermaltake meausures sound but if those fans are 21 db, then a vantec tornado is 25 db or something. seriouosly maybe they measure the sound from 50 meters away or not i dont know. but what i can say is that they are loud. and the tsunami mak eno mistake looks awesome, but its a...
yeah there will be many fan boys out there, but at 400 euro range we all agree gt is better value and over that price range x800xt-pe is the better card. i just dont like the power consumption, and bad cooling/sound solution from 6800 ultra series.
I personally think msi has the best cooling solution in that review. only problem that sample was defective. its a problem to worry about but a big company like msi, will srely must have dealt with this problem.if u are not too sure go to your local shop, and check the cooling whether it sits...
the problem is that ati in my opinion decided not to venture a lot into open gl. as well most games are now direct x. and not gl. the 2 i can think of most popular open gl games are doom3 and call of duty.i never been a big fan of doom3. but i like call of duty.i guess ati doesnt see much future...
you guys really think there will be 24 and or 32 pipes this coming spring?man that will be awesome. i was expecting more like improved shaders, core speed and well more memory. this is the real bad dilemma you buy top end cpu/gpu and later on its obsolute.but now that spring is only few months...
so what you guys are expecting from the next generation of gpu's which should all be at least paper released by cebit2005 in spring?
i would like to see 512mb dd3 memory. and agp not left out :(
guys i'm planning on getting x800 pro with vivo and flashing it into xt pe speeds with 16 pipes. but in doing that i want near silent solution, so i figured best possible ones are the arctic silencer solution, 2 companies make them pre-build. sapphire toxic and HIS Excalibur... but out of those...
guys i just bought a new cooler for my athlon64 i used to use the stock cooler which i'm not intending on using anymore, but before i install the new heatsink , i have to remove the thermal paste on the processor, and apply a new one, but how do i do that?what should i use for efficient removing...
spin how did you reach upto that conclusion? as754 is not dying its evolving, yes true the new athlon64 bits are going into s939 but im sure amd will still make s754 for athlon64 as well. but probably will fase out at the end of next year. on the other hand semprons will be moving into s754...
nforce4 will come in 3 flavors, 2 of them will be s939 pci-x, and one willbe with s754 pci-x. the s0cket754 will be vanilla nforce4. no dual sli's or so. i guess they should hit the shelves by x-mas or in january, but make no mistake they will be available.
erm i turned the firewall off in the security center menu, noe even i gone to lenght of disabling the security center but no help yet. maybe i can disable firewall completly but that i have no idea how to do it.
bugalaman i follwed your tips, did everything as yuo said i 'diabled' it. but it didn't work, i thought maybe reboot would help. security center didnt pop pu after reboot but still no luck, when i try to connect to game server, it says it can't and tells me to check my internet connections :(
ok first off all it came with OS, so i guess it wont come out.
on surface everything works fine. flawlessly. but i play two games online all the time, one is diablo2, other c&c generals with both of them i can never connect to their servers to play online. on the other hand my internet works...
how do i remove sp2 from my computer? guys iinstalled new windows xp hoem edition which came along with sp2. i must say i like the feautures, but its too much where as i can not anymore play online games,as security is too tight and i tried everything to turn off the firewall to all the options...
which fan is best fot thermalright xp120 heatsink?
i want high performance low noise fan, and if it has blue leds it would be a plus.
i found this 120mm fan from thermaltake. from the listed specs its awesome; but i;m not sure if there is carch and it wont fit or so. the fan is...
i totally agree with you! i would w8 at least till x-mas time, nf4 is even better than nf3, and from now on agp cards will be out of favour. but if he needs it urgently at the moment k8neo2 is the most popular board for socket939 platforms, i have the socklet754 version of it and that is great...
super lanboy vs praetorian = praetorian wins. praetorian is cheaper, and it doesnt have the cheap looks of the super lanboy. there is no contest here.
on the other new kid on the block is thermaltake tsunami dream.
now this is great case, great cooling and interior. i would have difficulty...
ok that semmes to be the problem, so i need to put my xp cd in and try like re-install xp where it will automatically format my harddrive right? i hope it wont write over my exinsting xp, as will it get messy.
guys im trying to format my harddrive, but winxp doesnt let me, previous version i used to do; c:format c:
and it did it automatically but here under winxp its impossible, is there any other way?
i just wonder when will hardocp will receive the card for a review. im sure ati has donw a lto of tweaking on this new card. idont mind dual slot cooling option as i love the arctic coolers, silencer models.
i'm in the market for a notebook that can do my everyday needs and cope with intense gaming on my free time. of course it has to be amd platform which narrows my choices.
but to my amazement i just found a great notebook for an amd system as of to date, and its price is unbeliavable for a high...
The product has been officially announced thats about it. we have to wait and see some reviews of it BEFORE we can jump up to any conclusion. I understand the argument about the 20 mhz speed bump is nothing and its quite funny! but on the other hand i'm sure ati knows of that as well. maybe they...
as in performance its much better then a s939 3500+. as the seed increase of 200 mhz is more important then dual channel mem.
if u do some overclocking moderate one lets say around 10% of each processor. still i will go for s754 3400. but if u are serious about overclocking and would go all...
yes you will waste your money on 6600gt agp version resaons;
1) agp version of 6600 gt is more slower and more expensive then its pci brothers.
2) for a little bit more +20usd you can get 6800 vanilla, they can easily be overclcked and u can easily get it upto 16 pipe lines. and they are...
hi guys, i saw some sites offering radeon x800 se cards but i have no idea what is their specs, seem low on price im assuming its to compete with 6800 vanillas, but not sure yet, does anyoen know their specs?
i might be wrong but i think u got the newcastle version 2.4ghz/512 kb.
usuallt most 3400+ cpus are chaeper then 285 usd and only newcatsle 3400 is around that price point. and at computer shows usually prices are cheaper...so it shoudl be the newcastle core, but you will never know untill u...
well another quick solution can be, is that he bought it new, where did you buy it? at what price? and does it have a website? with the price we can pin point what it is.
