Bioshock. Yea, I'm a bit behind as this is my first play-through. Just arrived at Olympus Heights and hoping I'll be able to finish it up this Sunday on my day off.
Given CS;GO is on sale at the moment I think I'm going to finally pick that up and give it a shot this weekend as well.
I really want Sleeping Dogs but don't think I'm going for the $15 tier since I already have Tomb Raider. I might pick up the BTA for Thief and Murdered: Soul Suspect though.

Same. It also allows me to get a better idea of how good the game actually is by getting actual gamer feedback, especially after the hype of it's release has subsided.
I won't be picking the game up until it's significantly cheaper but it's still unfair to the people that will be buying at launch to release an unfinished product. For this reason I have no problem with them delaying the release. Granted this doesn't mean it'll be free of any issues at launch...
My HD4890 was the card that lasted me the longest. It definitely started to show it's age and I just finally upgraded in November from that rig with an E8400 and 4GB of RAM to my current setup.
I had no idea this was coming out until I saw it in my Steam recommendations and now I'm excited. I don't pick many games up near launch, but depending on how good this remake is this will likely be an exception just to get a chance to re-live some of those childhood memories of playing it. I...
Looks like they're on the FedEx truck for delivery today. Unfortunately it looks like they split the order into multiple shipments and I won't be receiving the starter kit until Saturday, which means I won't have any cables to hook it up. I'm tempted to stop at Radioshack on the way home from...
Yes, I ended up going with the starter kit with volume control. It was a tad more than Amazon (currently $278 a pair), but I figured it'd be worth it for the small price difference. It also looks like the volume control has an 1/8" stereo input and since I have a few of those laying around I...
After careful consideration and more research I think I will go with the JBL's instead. It looks like that website is current out of stock for the bundle but they have the starter pack in stock separately. I'll contact them and see if there's anyway to still get it together for the same price...
The JBL monitors were actually what I was originally going to get but I was under the impression going active would be beneficial just from a simplicity standpoint while a passive DIY setup would be superior in terms of sound quality and flexibility. No?
Thanks, I'll take a look. What would the main advantages be over the SA-50?
Space under the desk isn't as much of a concern so I think the 10" Dayton will be fine. As for the source, currently it is just onboard. If you think a DAC would be a good idea I'd be comfortable increasing my budget...
Since I've been using the same cheap 2.1 Logitech setup for probably close to the last 8-9 years I figure it's time to upgrade. Main usage will be gaming with a bit of music as well (mainly electronic, hip-hop and other bass heavy music). I was originally planning on going the active speaker...
This year I got the following from Steam:
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
Trine 2
Batmam Arkham Origins - Cold, Cold Heart DLC
Deus Ex GOTY
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut
Portal 2
Bulletstorm
Darksiders II
Saints Row IV - Game of the Century Edition
Far Cry Franchise Pack...
FC3 for $7.49 or the Franchise pack for $9.99 are awesome deals as well. I picked up the franchise pack myself.
Far Cry
Far Cry 2: Fortune's Edition
Far Cry 3
Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon
Far Cry 3 Deluxe Bundle DLC
All for $9.99 :)
Bioshock Infinite is currently $7.49, but season pass is $9.99. I own but have not completed both Bioshock 1&2, but I actually planned on starting them this weekend. At $7.49 I'll likely pickup Infinite now so I have it when I finish the first two, but is the season pass or any of the other DLC...
I'm glad I'm not the only one that ran into this issue. I've had to end the process in task manager multiple times just to get the game to launch. As far as gameplay is concerned I was a bit disappointed after finishing the main mission before I realized this unlocked additional missions and...
I'll be picking up Saints Row IV when I get out of work, I had a blast with the last one and was just waiting for it to get below $5. I'm tempted by the GTA pack for $9.99 just for the replay value as well, but I'm afraid the games would just feel dated at this point.
