Well, don't get too envious just yet. I've just realized it has all been a lie!!
Somehow the BIOS is underclocking the RAM, and taking it off of the normal HTT x2 and giving it some other muliplier altogether.
As you see here, my CPU is x9.0 off of the HTT of 270 for a total of 2430 MHz...
On my A8N-SLI i've got 2x512 of Crucial Ballistix running in Dual-channel at 280Mhz w/ 2.85 volts and 3-4-3-10 1T. Everything is perfect.

I'm looking at a GIGABYTE CPU Cooler Model "GH-PCU21-VG".

It is listed as working with K8 processors. Does anyone know if this will work with a Socket 939 Winchester proc?
I've had the exact same problem and found that is a faulty floppy disk drive. Try disconnecting any floppy that you have installed and see if that does the trick. If that helps, then make sure that you have not installed the floppy cable upside down, as that can cause the same issue.

A VERY good VERY in-depth review, as we've come to expect from Anandtech.

Ah yes, ok. Now I understand.
I suppose you're right. I'm just itchin to get these cards ready for the moment an SLI board comes out. Probably would be safter just to wait, I think.
I was under the impression that in order to run two cards in SLI mode they had to be the exact same model as each other.
I think, if the price is right, two GTO's could perform quite well together.
Thanks for the info on the SLI capability. Nvidia should update their website to include...

It's PCI-Express and I see the SLI Connector. Question remains, can it do SLI or is that just part of the generic board?
Say, does anyone know if the 6800 GTO is SLI capable?
I know it has the SLI connector, but on the nVidia website they say :
"These PCI Express-based GeForce 6 Series GPUs support SLI technology:
# GeForce 6800 Ultra
# GeForce 6800 GT
# GeForce 6600 GT"
I may be being a little too...
