There are benefits in getting a GBA over a DS, namely the ability to play original gameboy games without emulation, as well as the ability to play the GBA and GB games in multiplayer.
I know it sounds remote, but both of those are the reason I keep my SP around.
The nomad is a lot of fun...
It's like you didn't even read the original post.
As for the OP, I recommend Marvel Ultimate Alliance (and possibly MUA 2, I haven't played it). It's fun and extremely cheap since it was bundled with the 360 at one point.
I haven't played Dante's Inferno, so I don't know how close they...
Not picking sides, I think both offer valid points, but you actually need to trace back to your original quote and realize what he's referring to.
You make the comparison to the Wii, he then says you've obviously not played 'one' (in reference to the Natal, not the Wii, what an English major...
I'd recommend these if you plan on getting an amp almost immediately, otherwise I'd go for the HD-595.
If you liked the HD-555, you'll like the 595 for sure. If you plan on upgrading in the near future, or want more money for your amp, you may want to just hit up some HD555 for temporary...
the Tap Tap Revenge games are fun if you're into DDR/Guitar Hero type stuff. It comes with a few songs and has a bunch of free ones available, it can also use some of the songs from your iPod if it recognizes them and a sheet has been made for it.
Pocket Tanks is a lot of fun as well. Turn...
Movie - Average price is $10 a ticket. Divided by 1.5 or 2.5 is still under $10 an hour.
Dinner - Where are you eating that it costs you $20 for dinner? Seriously, find cheaper places to eat and you'll pocket a lot of cash by the end of the year.
I have another option to offer
Go buy a...
Deadspace is indoors because it's, ohh I don't know, in space... And last I checked Arkham Asylum was a building, so yea... indoors. I don't see how those were forced indoors for frame rate issues. Calling shenanigans on that one captain.
And if you're saying that the ideas originated from...
The Walmart where I live has the ps3 to ps2 memory card adapter for 12.99, but I think it's because they're trying to get rid of them. But you should check a walmart near you, may be the same case there.
But he'd have to wait anyway to buy it in his country... So he's perturbed that he didn't get a free case when he wanted it and offered to pay for it. O.K. that doesn't magically make it easy for Lian-Li to get it to him (Obviously, since it's not being SOLD in his area). If it's not readily...
Damn, this is going to make deciding on a case difficult now. I actually really like the look of it vs. the Antec 900.
Anyone know why Newegg only has the single 120 exhaust fan listed and not the two 140's (intake and exhaust) that are supposed to come with it?
Those are both examples of when thump bass is wanted, so I don't see how that's confusing (they both have the intention of physically feeling the bass, rather than it adding to the music/listening experience).
First you need to realize that since you're strapping a small speaker to the side...
I think what was meant by tower is the vertical vs. horizontal orientation of the motherboard, not the size of the PSU. But that's just me assuming and we know what they say about that...
Very constructive comment ya' got there. Your extensive knowledge on the subject is backed by all of the reasons you've listed to support your statement. Perhaps you should expound this argument a bit and try not sounding like a dick.
This kind of service is awesome.
This post was definitely a contributing factor in my decision to buy a BFG card (just ordered it). Definitely awesome.
I am also planning a Zotac 9300 / SG05 build. It fits every aspect of what I'm looking for in a machine. I'm in college and I have very little space in my room for anything (even something as space efficient as a mid tower pc), so being as small as this is, and it can game very well on top of...
I can't speak for him on his set up, but I can say that proper amplification definitely helps. A $30 amplifier won't cause a huge night and day shift that's immediately noticeable, but $100 amp and $100 DAC have a definite impact, even in comparison to the X-Fi card. The little dot amplifiers...
Sweet Action, sounds like XP is the way to go until windows 7 comes out.
As for the games, looks like I've got a good source to go to and gather from.
I'm thinking I'll pick up Stalker(SoC and CS), UT3, and Dawn of War 2 right off the bat, just to jump back in. That way I've got these...
Awesome thanks!
Sadly I can't participate in the free weekend for UT3 (I'm not getting the computer for about a week or so), but honestly $12 is something I can risk, even if it turns out to only be mediocre. Crysis and Deadspace look sweet, I just hope my computer can run Crysis (I don't...
I'm about to receive a decent computer from my parents (I don't remember it's entire specs, but 8800GT or GTS and like 3gb of ram are the main ones I can remember), that I put together for them about a year ago. They're moving on to using two laptops now, ends up being easier for both of them...
On your controller press the big silver X button in the middle. Observe the music player that takes up half the menu that pops up. Use it to play any music stored upon your 360 Hard Drive.
In response to the OP's question:
Neither, you'll have to participate in a marketing plan to get...
How soon would you like to get a DSLR? If you plan on getting one right around the corner, I'd say hold off on this lens, more money for a DSLR = nicer stuff. But that's just my opinion.
I made the drive to town today and went into a local camera store. The guy there said the same things as you guys and was very helpful. I decided on the Lowepro 200, he gave me a deal for it (79.99, cheaper than amazon). It's really comfortable, but I'll have to see what my final opinion is...
Question for the slingshot owners: Do you find the one shoulder design uncomfortable when wearing for longer walks (like 2 hours or so)? That would be my biggest problem is the shoulder strain if I take it on a hike.
I know a lot of hobby photographers have more than one bag, but that's...
So, I need a new camera bag. My old one somehow got lost when I moved from my dorm to my new duplex...but my camera and lenses are all with me (I don't get it either, don't worry).
I like to hike, but only occasionally, since my university has a nice nature park.
I use an Olympus E-500...
Yea I know. Just like the awesome load times in Portal, what a minute halfway through the levels. That superior power sure shows off on a lot of game now a days. Ohh wait...not really. Plus, Rockstar has stated over and over again that they're developing the games to run the exact same on...
I own a powerbook for two reasons.
First, the chem department at my school uses two programs, Chemdraw and Spartan which run, imho (i've tried them on a pc, didn't like it) better on a mac then windows and linux.
Second, my family has a lot of money and I like shiny objects. The same...
just to clarify, this isn't entirely true. The Sims has sold over 50 Million games, making it the best selling video game of all time. Super Mario Bros. is just the best selling console game of all time.
So me and a bunch of guys in my dorm have decided that drunken N64 is quite possible the most entertaining thing ever. We're now looking for a couple games to pass the time by (and possibly another system if it's decently priced)
Games we'd like:
1. Goldeneye (almost a duh)
2. Super Smash...
I carry my cheapy P&S with me just about everywhere, being a broke college student I can't afford anything much better than that for taking with me constantly.
Though if I do think I'm going to be shooting something I'll take my E-500 with me (with the kit lenses, see broke college student...
Sadly this is only partly correct. A black soul gem has the same capacity as a grand soul gem. They both can hold up to a grand soul, which is the biggest in the game. An NPC soul would count as a Grand Soul, which is the same as say a Xivilai.
What size Vizio is that and where's that stand from? I've got a 26" and am looking for a decent sized stand and what you've got looks perfect. I'm a college student in a small ass dorm, but you're stand looks like the right size.
TransientKing, I like to enjoy my games, so I get tend to not play with the cursing/racist bunch, but I can get worked up (mainly non-verbal with me quiting and then squeezing my controller) :D
I'm mainly playing CoD4 right now, but I like to play these as well:
NCAA 08
Quake 4 (when...
I just finished up the single player (had to finish up the orange box), and I must say that it was truly amazing. I'm really glad I own this game. Gunna check out the MP on Live later on, not yet though (gotta think of a new gamer tag, aparently my normal one is taken...)
