I had already ordered a motherboard before you posted. It is the same motherboard that I have so I should not have any problems with windows 10 activation.
I have computer with a amd 945 phenom 2 and a m4a785td-v evo motherrboard. I have tried different video card in both pcie slots, different memory and new bios battery. I hooked monitor up to on board video with card in the computer
and it would start running and then stop. Took card out and...
It turns out that it was the webroot anti-virus that was causing the bluescreens. I installed Bitdefender free anti-virus and now the wireless keyboard is working just fine.
About 30 minutes ago I read something about it could be a usb problem so I hooked an old style keyboard up and the problem went away. Now I have to figure out how to fix the usb problem. I was using a microsoft wireless keyboard. I wonder if a different brand wireless board would work
because I...
Just installed new windows 10 update and having a problem with it. If I try to do anything with it, it bluescreens. The
issue is stop code: driver irql not less or equal. What failed: kbdclass.sys. I hope someone can help me with this problem.
Update on the 1950 pro card, I changed it to a atti 3870. When computer booted it was like the 1950 except there was no display adapter in device manager. I went to windows update and checked for updates. After the check there was a driver for the 3870. After install everything is normal. I...
I have a core 2 duo system with a ati 1950 pro card running windows 10. It boots fine but it has a low resolution like your computer and in device manager it shows Microsoft display adapter. As far as I know this motherboard doesn't have onboard video so it must be using the video card. I have...
Danny, the corsair 400 is on sell from newegg's e-blast for $90 with $20 rebate. They now require you to put in you email address before allowing you to apply the e-blast code.
I ran the free avast scan as a boot scan and it found some trojans in the temporary internet files so I think the computer is pretty clean now. The only problem is the temporary files. The content.ie5 file contains 2,375,000 files with 49 gigabyte size. I would hate to have to delete that many...
I have been trying to delete these files since the 13th. Once it said that the files were to big for the recycle bin, then it said i couldn't delete theme because they were in a open file. Today I took out the hard drive and hooked it to my computer. When I accessed the syswow64 file I got to...
My nephew asked me to check his computer because it was slow and having trouble getting on internet. It is a hp with a intel E5300 duel core at 2.6 gig. I tried to install avast antivirus but it would not install. I finally got MSE to install. It took 70 hours to run. It found a lot of viruses...
Dual channel would be white slots or blue slots. Gigabyte recommends if only installing 2 sticks of memory to install them in the white slots. Installing the 2 gig sticks in one color and the 4 gig sticks in the other color should have worked.
I don't know which slots you used but gigabyte recommends using slot 1 which is closest slot to edge of board and slot 2 which is the second slot from the cpu socket for dual channel.
I don't know why you have 2 like that and I don't know a lot about sharing but I have learned how to move stuff from one computer to another. I don't know if it is the easiest way.
To find out if all computers are on the network, click control panel, network and internet, view network computers and devices. If computers are on and joined to the network they will be here.
I have a e6600 cpu with an intel bx2 motherboard. It looks similar to your asus bios. I have 667 memory and like you I set the dram frequency to 667 and the board wouldn't boot. When I set it to 533 it booted so I left it there. Unlike most boards the multiplier on my board can't be changed...
Dual channel does not have anything to do with the settings. When you had the fsb set to 300 what was the dram frequency on cpu-z memory section, also fsb:dram ratio and cpu multiplierbeing used.
When using 2 memory modules Gigabyte recommends putting them in memory slots 1 and 2 which are the 2 white slots. If you put the memory in the blue slots the computer may not boot. I missed that you had used both colored slots, but the white slots are the correct slots to use.
I was running vista 64 on a e6750 dual core at 3.2 ghz when it would start running at 100% when I booted up.It would run at 100% for 5 or 6 minutes. A couple of weeks later I read a thread on here about people having the same problem. It was a problem with mse.
I uninstalled mse and installed a...
The best way to install is to unplug the hard drive you aren't going to use. When you get the os installed then hook the other drive back up. As far as linux I don't have any advice on that.
Newegg has a warehouse in Memphis which is a good deal for me. If something I order comes by ups, it ships one day and I get it the next day even if it is 3 day shipping.
Several years ago I had a hard drive fill up in a couple of days. I took the drive to a friend of mine. He hooked it up to his computer and ran antivirus and and found over 800 virus and stuff. After he cleaned the virus off the drive I had all my lost space back.
