HD555s are excellent in mid to low price range. They are circumaural, but they are open-air. They are also very very comfy. They do muffle outside sounds somewhat, but not much. The sound quality is comparable to low range Grados like SR80 (good).

Arrogant. A good way to run Doom3 for me is 1024x768 8xAA. It runs at the same speed as 1600x1200 4xAA and provides better IQ.

An 80 mm fan blowing in between the two cards would help a lot in bringing the temps down. My dinky 40cfm fan, lowered the temps of both cards by 7C in idle and 10C at load. The damn silver heatsinks (BFG) still get very hot though.
