I wasn't sure about this one either, but I really ended up enjoying the change of scenery. While there are indeed no guns, the weapons and combat were still quite satisfying to me. And I loved the combining of the animal and vehicle mechanics. Animals that you can ride and attack on, or go...
FO' SALE!
I bought this kit 1 year ago for like $250. Now I need MOAR GIGS. Awesome kit. I ran it at regular XMP 3600 but when I first got it had a bunch of fun overclocking it and watching it do 4000, 4133, etc. at really good latencies.
Model F4-3600C17D-16GTZR
DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800)...
I believe anything that's 3200 CL14 is Samsung B-Die. That's definitely going to provide the most overclocking capability.
In the real world does 3200 CL16 vs 3200 CL14 matter? Not that I can observe beyond synthetic benchmarks. Not even if you were playing those big AAA games that you...
Was that Ray Tracing Ultra or High? All the benches nvidia showed were with ultra which is kinda skewing the numbers even worse. The game looks great with RT on High.
Here, this is where I read it:
https://www.anandtech.com/show/13060/asus-pg27uq-gsync-hdr-review/2
That link references the Nvidia G-Sync HDR whitepaper.
This is where I concluded that Nvidia won't let somebody release a G-Sync display with HDR support that isn't "Ultimate". And the fact...
I don't believe that is correct. From what I recall and understand (and I could totally be wrong here) Nvidia won't sell the G-Sync Ultimate module for a panel that doesn't meet the G-Sync ultimate requirements (like HDR1000). This module is very expensive, rumored around $500 and wouldn't...
It's not an HDR1000 display...
Therefore it does not meet G-Sync Ultimate requirements from Nvidia...
Therefore it cannot use the G-Sync Ultimate module...
Therefore it must employ FreeSync, FreeSync 2, or G-Sync standard...
G-Sync standard module does not support HDR (or 3440x1440 above 120Hz...
I don't think that's correct. I think that you're assuming that the "current G-sync modules" are all the G-Sync Ultimate modules. I believe that the LG is using the standard G-Sync module (the OG one, still "current") because the panel doesn't support everything necessary for the "G-Sync...
It's widely known that gaming performance on these APUs is severely hamstrung by memory bandwidth. If you plan to game you definitely want both channels. If you're just using to watch movies and crap, probably doesn't matter.
I know there are a million threads here with delid results but I figured you can't have too much data. Just putting this on here for posterity.
Test conditions identical except the delid and thermal grizzly conductonaut.
Rig is mini ITX with an ancient Corsair H80i.
I recently upgraded my 1080Ti FE to a 2080Ti FE. It's the first time I've had non-blower card in an ITX build and it's made my CPU fan get noticably louder under load. My H80i (original v1) is 5 years old now and I want to find something better. Enclosure won't allow for a 240 so I've got to...
That's what I thought until I saw Metro Exodus. I wouldn't be surprised if there's not another good showing like Metro until the 7nm cards are out, but this is a hobby, not a business - financial justification is different for everybody. Paying $100 for ray tracing in one game is worth it for...
I'm tempted. My 1080Ti is plenty fast for my ultrawide 1440p but I really want to play Metro with RTX GI on. This seems like a better deal than the 2080 Ti.
I need a new game to play.
I liked FC3 and FC4 well enough, and the Primal one had some fun elements. Religious nuts in Montana doesn't sound that exciting to me and much of what I read suggests there were some steps backwards in FC5.
Anyone really enjoy this one?
