or maybe they actually made a product that works well for developers...
but do you have any proof he gave ID money? If not, then probably best to leave the blatantly random accusationsto yourself.
Well I intend on buying an XBox 360, but I certainly dont plan on selling the PC for cash to buy it!
This is America, you can have both... BTW I played Doom III on my PC, and it screwed my Radeon 9800 Pro... caused pixelation to occur, even on other games after I played it (not overclocked)...
Yes they do, but the discount isnt as good as 5.99 for a 50 dollar game.
They get 10% over cost up to a certain amount per year, and the longer they have worked there the higher that certain amount is. I think it starts at 500 bucks total.
My brother sells cameras there.
Logitech is awesome. I have 4 (one is the green one) and the logitech headset.
I am kinda pissed that I *just* got all that for Christmas and within 11 months the XBox360 will make it useless for me...
We have a Lan place here. Its wicked fun. I would suggest selling food and drinks at slightly inflated prices. IMO there good money there. If you can manage a pizza oven... your gold IMO.
Also, the place just changed locations, and the new location, though smaller, has a neater feel to...
My favorite.. though I have to admit, I havent spent the time trying different beers like others.
My point though, was that consoles and PCs are different experiences. Some prefer one and some the other...
If I could, I would play all my games from the confort of my recliner... I just...
I prefer my XBox and GameCube on my HDTV to PC games almost all the time (except MMORPGs) even if they are not HD. When the XBox 360 and PS3 come out, I may just sell my GPU to help pay for the new consoles.
To me, the PC cant hold a candle to playing with 3 of my buddies on a 57" HDTV...
Well, yes, the XBox 350.5 is all old tech. I remember playing that stuff back in the day. Till the Atari 8500 came out and trounced it :P
Come on Sony, we dont need comments like this. Just shut up and put your money where your mouth is.
I never bought a PS2 because the technology was not...
Thank you for this thread.
I have debated getting WOW for a month now.
I work full time and grad school at night.
I have a wife, a house, and a dog.
There is no way I could handle this game. I know this. Thanks for making me 100% sure of it.
Damn MMORPGs, they are like crack man!
Is that why we often (more and more recently) get the "reconnecting to game" message?
You know its funny, people worry about their kids hearing the dirty words all the adults say on XBL...
OMG YOU SHOULD HEAR THE KIDS TALK! Some of you parents REALLY need to control your children. Its...
Is there a free trial? My worry is that I just get sucked in, and what little free time I have left after work and grad school will all get used up by this game.
I still want to have time for a life... but this looks like a fun great game too!
Is WOW that good a game?
Lots of people online here.
I used ot love DAOC but I can only play 3 or 4 hours a week. All my buddies BLEW by me, and I had no fun. Would WOW work for me here?
Heck yeah thanks!
So how would these compare to Antec? (I have a 300 watt Antec now which may not survive my move to A64).
Why dont people mention these when the X-Connect is brought up.. that would probably stop the debating..
Still.. has anyone actually seen one of these actually fail?? I really love the removable cables, what a novel idea. Still, I am torn between this and the Fortron.
People are talking enough smack abuot the X-Connect to have me question it, but I have yet to see one person post an example of...
Hehe, I sold a 39 dollar warranty on a 29 dollar Canon BJC 200 once. I actually told the woman it probably wasnt worth it (probably?). But she said she SWORE by warranties..
I never figured that one out.
I never had battery problems on my cell phone, but I have had them lost or smashed...
Word to that :D
Honestly, I have had great luck with Maxtors (knock on wood). I can understand if you have had Maxtors die, not wanting to ever buy one again. I have had many Seagates die on me, but this was back in the day of <2 Gb drives...
I used to sell service plans at Best Buy, and...
And next year Ill have a 400Gb drive...
BTW, I have owned crap Seagates, and I have owned super reliable Maxtors.
The Maxtor 16Mb SATA I have now is amazingly quiet and fast... so just because it has a one year warranty doesnt mean it will break in a year,.
I replaced two 40Gb Maxtors...
Wait.. maybe I didnt read the right post...
200Gb/$80 = $.4 per Gb
160Gb/$70 = $.44 per Gb plus having to price match.
The outpost ones a better deal all around, isnt it?
edit: oh I did miss some posts.. you apply the rebate AFTER price matching.. sneaky sneaky..
Well, its too long if I have to pay extra for it.. thats my point.
If its 5 years and the same price, then obviously Id get the 5 year one. But I dont see the logic in paying a premium for a 5 year warranty on technology thats outdated in 1 or 2 years...
For example...
Well I can spend 80 bucks on a 200 GB Maxtor at Frys, as opposed to a smaller seagate for more and wait for a rebate that may never come in.
My data may get hosed whether or not my drive goes bad so I should back up regardless.
If my maxtor lasts 10 years, great... if it doesn't, so what...
