I tryed my system (usually 1gb) at 512mb just to see the difference and it is very noticable. Games run soooooo much smother and faster with 1gb.

That is true. The reason I got the sli deluxe modle is because it was the only one available at the time. It is the same as the non sli deluxe just with a second pci-e 16x slot.
