I updated my C2 42" to WebOS 23 and it could just be my imagination, but the input latency feels slightly worse. Maybe I need to reset the firmware and set it up again. :inpain:

At the time I bought mine, the C2 was $1700AUD and the A90K was $2900AUD. If I'd waited I could have spent ~$1200AUD on the C2 and $16-1900AUD for the A90K. So a ~$700USD price difference when I picked mine up. And I mostly use a 4k 27" monitor on the right of the OLED with an Apple TV to watch...

The lower price and input latency as well as the 4 hdmi 2.1 ports is what pushed me to LG instead of Sony. And I can't bring myself to spend money on a Shield to improve the upscaling on my C2 when Nvidia are massively overdue to replace the chip in it with something that has updated codec...

My 43” Sony lcd died which is why I picked up a 42”C2. Still partly regretting not going for the 42” Sony OLED for the better image processing.

I’m tempted to drop lower for that 360hz qdoled samsung panel coming out. But otherwise 42c2.

I’m only slightly jealous ;). If my ~10 year old living room Sony died today this is probably what would replace it.

Sadly the show has a a high probability of being bad due to the terrible writers and show runners that are currently being hired for pretty much everything. I'm sure it'll look nice though.

Upgraded from a 6700xt to a 7900xtx and it was definitely worth it. I run 4k with mine. I had an issue with my corsair h1000i not being able to keep it stable but a spare fractal design 850w I had solved it.

The pesky laws of physics keeps getting in the way of pay walling all video games behind a subscription. I feel so bad for them. :rolleyes:

My tri sli gtx480’s that I used for 3d vision before they removed support for it. Also doubled as a space heater.

I’m of the opinion the current price will go down once RDNA 2 stock is gone. Earlier if Nvidia aggressively drops the 4060 pricing.

Decided not to wait for 7800xt reviews and picked up a 7900xtx. I play too many games at 4k. I’m hoping antilag+ brings AMD closer to reflex latency numbers.

I don't live in the USA so the sale forums are no good for me ;-). Depending on benchmarks of the 7800xt I might grab a 7900xtx instead. But it's really only the antitlag+ I'm interested in since antilag has disappointing performance in comparison to reflex.

If it’s enough of an upgrade over my 6700xt I might grab a 7800xt for the antilag+. (Assuming it’s actually good).

I assume this is in part is to try and get VR game developers to port their products over in time for the launch. And maybe they want m3 and m4 to steal back some of the game market they threw out the window decades ago.

The game seems ok so far but I’m only at the first town. There’s the occasional stutter but I’m unsure if that’s driver related or game related. I’m liking that they brought over controller support from the consoles this time so I can lean back.

Lack of VRAM in the 3080 was a key component in my decision to switch to AMD from only buying nvidia cards for my gaming machine since the riva128. Combined with the inability to find cards at msrp. Although suppose losing 1 customer doesn’t matter that much.

Well I'm typing this on a monitor I bought from them, but I do agree they have big issues in meeting deadlines. (though the refund thread in their forums suggests maybe I got lucky, which is a shame since it's a really good monitor)

The quality of games released on console this year have been below par, so the news is hardly surprising.

I was going to get a 7900xtx, but instead bought a bunch of music gear to play with. I definitely need to upgrade in 2 years though, and the GPU chiplets should be more mature by then.
