As usual you guys did a good job on the review. The format has settled in quite nicely.
Only thing I would have hoped for would have been a visual confirmation of the burn spot on the video card (perhaps the gold fingers) just to be sure AW got it right. I don't have any reason to believe AW...
Wow. Mario seems really passionate about his company, product and overclocks. I'm sure there are a lot of small builders that are just as passionate but with no overclocks and benches to back it up. The actual CPU and GPU overclocks seem fairly safe and sane considering they're suppose to head...
I'm not much into the looks of a rig but I must admit the case interior is stunning. Seems like a shame to put the cover on.
Surprised to see [H] give the vendor the benefit of the doubt on the rig arriving unstable out of the box. No way it should have left the dock in that condition. That...
I keep thinking about the typical gamer (young males) who after developing a taste for gaming on consoles, decides to step on up to the PC gaming ranks because of the superior graphics and online communities. He is able to talk Mom/Dad into footing the bill, however they insist on buying a Dell...
Extreme performance no ... extremely cheap yes. ;)
Its unique open air design sets it apart from every water cooling system and destined it for the bargain bins but if you check the reviews where they popped a few ice cubes in the tank ...

Wow. A company comes through pretty much unscathed. Decent price and decent performance on the low budget end of the spectrum. Hopefully the all PC Club machines including their more beefy systems fare as well. Good to see a company like PC Club who has a B&M retail presence get a solid review...
When Kyle annouced that HardOCP would do more system reviews I thought - well just another reason not to read [H]. After all I would never buy a pre-configured systems and I thought most who read this site regularly were much to [H]ard for that. :) It turns out that these reviews are some of...
Behold! The powah that is Opteron 144 939!!! Well its good enough to beat my Winnie by 22 seconds ... and doesn't require sub-zero cooling or a lot of volts. Might be able to do a little better if I pull my game memory out.
Hmmm... this place is kind of a ghost town these...
Thought I should try out my Patriot 2x1gig set to see if the 250HTT problem got worse as memory size increased. It doesn't seem to be a problem. My 2gig set actually beat my TCCD 2x512mb set in SuperPi. Might have been the trfc adjustment I made. Previously I had just left it at its default setting.
I'm thinking that the Anand review of the Jetway mobo must have been using a divider when they went over 300HTT with their 2x512 TCCD. Polygon at Rebel's Haven reports that only 2x512mb sticks and higher have the +250HTT 1:1 problem. He posted a shot of 2x256 over 300HTT 1:1. Can anyone else do...
Dang. Just saw some some bios shots from the Rebel's Haven site. Bios looks exactly the same. No extra memory settings. They have a screenie showing 314 1:1 though. I had to drop the 166 divider on my EVGA to get the HTT over 300. No 1:1 for me unless I kick my TCCD out. Hmmm ... I have some...
Try different Tref settings to see if it some gives you a little more OC headroom.
Went through the last 12 pages of this thread and haven't seen a lot results from the flash to the Jetway bios. Just a waste of time? Or does the extra bios settings (memory timings?) get this mobo up to speed...
Looks like he fell off the planet on the 14th. Sort of pointless to keep posting these scores I guess. Dang. Just when my system was hitting its stride.
11,940 on '05.
No. It s a very strong CBBHD 0444 3000+. 66% overclock 24/7 but I'm pushing it a little more now for benches because the video cards are tapped out. Might do the bios volt edit to see if the cards will benefit.
How is this not impressive? Your SLI blew that nature score through the roof. I remember seeing some review of SLI that showed the same improvement in Nature while the other test were about the same. I haven't been able to replicate those results. Care to share how you did it? Its the least you...
One of my cards idles at 68c! I think it may be a bad sensor since it doesn't seem to climb much. The weaker card of the two idles at 40c! That can't be right either with stock cooling. Still a lot of issue to resolve, but I may put them aside to game a little.
Both cards have the same bios now. Can't get into Windows with the latest drivers and I still have heat issues but, looks like things are picking up on '05. 10,239 :)
Bah! Looks like these cards paired don't want to do more than 400/1100. Something is not quite right with the sytem because my score is low compared to Arseface. Could the extra L2 cache on his CPU account for the difference? 9,457
Finally got my 6800GT SLI set-up together. Had trouble with one card not liking the latest drivers. Heat issues. Set it at Ultra speed to start. I guess any score pretty much puts me on the SLI '03 board. 21,266.
Nice price for that card.
I thought the orb listed mostly PEs because everyone flashes their card bios.
In reviews the PEs doesn't have much of an OC ceiling, but once the v mods are done, maybe they start to put more distance between themselves and the 'nilla x850. Enough distance to...
Would love to get some GSkill LA or LE. I have to use a 9/10 divider so my OCZ Platinum rev.2 TCCD is only running a little over 300. Don't know why CPUZ isn't picking up on that. I need to test some BH-5 and that Twinmos SP before I buy more TCCD. :)
