Being in a dark room makes it more noticeable, but I can see it in a pretty bright room. When you look at a black screen, if the corners seem noticeably brighter than the others, you've got a bleeder.

Try dropping your response time to 59 hz. It makes them go away for me.

Well, short of the bleeding/pixel problem, I love this display. Everything is crisp and clear, i dont notice the screen door effect at all. If i wasn't ever going to play games/watch movies, the backlight wouldnt even be an issue.

Just got my replacement. My bleeding was alot like WLdocks...January 2006. No bleeding (thus far) but it does have a dead pixel, right in the middle. Gah. Should i live with the pixel? Or risk getting another bad bleeder...hmpf.

Restart your computer. I had the same problem at first, where it would take VGA but not DVI, and that fixed it. Go figure.
