Just do the math. Assume your old PC uses 200 watts (it probably doesn't). Also assume 10 cents per kiloWatt-hour (check your bill for comparison):

I think it'd be as good as any wireless router unless you spend a lot (even then I don't know if there is a difference)
I've gamed through this router, 30 feet laterally and then up a floor, with my desktop PC bridged through my laptop's 802.11b card. :eek:
Looking for an old 14" or 15" LCD monitor. The panel itself should be in good condition. Don't care about cosmetics of the bezel and such. External power brick style preferred (as opposed to internal transformer - brick needn't be included). But otherwise the display must be in good working...
Hmm... unless this model is somehow different to the one I've used (it looks identical), you tilt the mouse left/right as well as forward/back. Hence 'gyroscope.' Moving it up/down left/right might be strenuous after awhile.
Umm... yes a new PSU will most likely work. That doesn't mean a broken PC with a new PSU will work.
My earlier poiint was that the PSU is at least broken. Anything else could be broken beyond that, and none of us have any way to know.
