I watched a stream for some time last night. The game is about 15 hours long and is as hilariously janky as some of the best Eastern Euro RPGs. It however lacks any of the competent design and systems that back up those games and make the jank worth it. Combat looked incredibly easy and boring...
In GW2, you are basically encouraged to just walk around. You will find something to complete. If it is a heart, upon completion the heart NPC will be come a merchant. Points give you xp and sometimes mini-events or dungeons/jumping puzzles. Vistas make you stop and take a second to admire the...
Another big difference is that you aren't really funneled from hub to hub. They took time to make these maps and they want you to go around and explore them. They did a good job making the exploration worthwhile as well with the 100% completion chests you get.
At the very least, it will be decent I believe. There is great talent at the studio and the Director is proven to know what he is doing. They have lots of funding, time and over 300k alpha/beta testers waiting to give feedback.
Yea I wanted to post the clock but I'm at work right now and cat remember what is was exactly. Core clock was getting close to 1200 though. I think....
Does anyone have this card that can provide some final, stable OC numbers? I was testing yesterday and got up +140 core clock and +240 memory and it was holding steady. That seems kind of... high? LOL
They don't want to make it right now. It sucks but there is no shortage of great games to play. Some of them made by Valve, even. IT is one thing to want them to make HL3. It is another to go at them or Gabe because they choose not to while still doing a whole hell of a lot.
Better than what? Output games at a faster rate than almost any single development studio while simultaneously operating and updating the single largest digital store front in gaming? What more do you want them to do, exactly?
Valve has release 8 games since 2007. All while building, maintaining and improving Steam and creating it's own OS and controller for a living room friendly PC. They do this all with less people than what work on an Assassin's Creed game. What are you talking about?
This is pretty obviously the best next-gen system right now. Launch lineups are weak as hell for PS4 and Xbone and the software/interface/offscreen play stuff is great. That said, it is selling terribly.
I don't care for building stuff at all. That is why i was drawn to Terraria more than Minecraft initially. I just put up a mud house and went exploring.
Well I jumped in on this game. I got the Arbiter pack, I think. Comes with a 325A. I also went ahead and bought an Aurora. I would like to have 2 ships to try when the dogfighting module comes out so I can feel the difference in how ships handle. If there is a difference.
I largely ignored...
