Hi, I have upgraded my Vista 64 system to 8GB so I'm selling the old RAM. It's 4 sticks, 512MB each of registered ECC DDR400/PC3200. This is for workstation/server boards, it won't work in consumer grade boards that don't take registered RAM.
Here's my Heatware, 95 positives and nothing else...

I bought this card on eBay earlier this year for my sister, and put it in her G4 FW800 so she could use FCPro. Now that her project is done she's going to do her editing at work...
I've been working on getting a friend's computer cleaned up and updated from the nasty Antivirus XP 2008 infection. One of the things it does is move all your desktop icons into a toolbar in the taskbar. How can I restore this back to normal? On XP with SP3.
Thanks, anything you can dig up would be great. We're thinking Partition Magic at the moment, but we would like this to go as quickly, transparently and risk-free as possible as this is a Domain Controller as well as a file server.
My boss is worried that the Smart Array 431 won't support a resize of the array. The server in question has a three-drive RAID 5 array, plus a spare. These were 18GB drives, they're now 36. It's in a ProLiant server, can't remember which model.
I put the last drive in today, let it rebuild...

Just in case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about, let me clarify:
I need a video card for a Mac.
I need one with ADC, and compatible with a G4 (specifically the FW800). From my research I believe the only card may be the 9700 Pro for G4 with ADC.
Any card that is: 1) ADC, 2) G4...
I am a PC guy helping my sister upgrade the video card in her FW800. She has a 20" Cinema display so she needs a card with an ADC port.
I won a 9600xt (maybe a Pro?) on eBay, but the ADC power connector on the edge of the card is in a different spot, expecting a G5 logic board.
I know...
I've located my last two SCA adapters, would you like me to send them off? Free of charge, just PM me your address again :)
If nothing else, I have no problem buying the drives back from you at the same prices we had then.
Did this 3MB/s symptom only manifest recently?
What jumpers are on the SCA adapters, and as per my PM, are there any jumpers on the drives themselves? Check the bottoms.
I *think* I have two more SCA adapters I could send you. They'd be my last two, but no big deal since I haven't used them in forever. I can't guarantee their quality or...
Per our PMs, do you have the floppy connector plugged into the video card?
Aside from the Intel video, did you have another video card in the system before? If so, make sure you uninstall its drivers first - better yet, use DriverCleaner (Google it) to wipe out the previous drivers. Do so in...
That may be okay. Most of what I read says you want at least 18 amps, however dderidex's post on page one of this thread says the card itself only uses 3.4 amps, and the rest are for other components on the 12v rails (CPU, drives, etc.). So as long as the rest of your system isn't too demanding...

You could shell out the bucks for a new $ony replacement PSU, but that would probably be $$$ figuring that it's $ony.
I take it the label doesn't say how many amps are on the 12v rail? e.g. something like [12v | 18 A]. That would help.
Can...
I am having trouble getting four Windows NT 4.0 (SP6a) computers to connect to an HP LaserJet 1022 shared from a Windows 2000 computer.
I have made sure all five computers are in the same workgroup name. I have added the user of one of the NT computers (s1) to the Power Users group on the...
Well, I don't know what to measure it with, but it's kinda moot as I don't have the board anymore. Also I did try two different batteries, though perhaps the second wasn't any better. Thanks though for letting me know.
The worst part about this is that the video card I was using to test doesn't work any more. The fan spins up but no display in two systems. There goes my HTPC's X1600 Pro :(
Thanks everyone, I tried most of the above with no luck, and in fact I just got back from collecting my refund.
How would I check the CMOS voltage? If it's in the BIOS, I can't get into that.
