Putting a video card in a system that the case was tight near the expansion slot and scraping a circuit off a perfectly good motherboard.
I needed an upgrade anyway.
I don't feel good about AMD buying ATI because I love the Nvidia chipsets for AMD processors, not to mention the Nvidia based video cards.
In the long run it could lead to Intel buying Nvidia.
Supercricket with Ghetto Lanparty has quite abit of experience with using a window AC unit to cool a computer. Over the last two Quakecons he has had his fishtank computer there using the AC unit to cool antifreeze going thru the cooling blocks on the motherboard submerged in mineral oil.
Kyle had mentioned something about trying to put a big lan event together at a workshop held in conjunction with an AMD event a few years back.
I'm not sure if he is trying to bring back the idea or just have the [H]workshop at a different time. I am looking forward to whatever he puts...
Flew RC planes and when you pull back on the stick you go up. It has just carried over to gaming where I have to pull back to look up.
Played alot of Xwing vs TIE fighter and the games that proceded it too.
Then it might have something to do with using a Logitec Marble for a mouse too.
Basically strip the machine down to just the motherboard with power supply hooked up and see if you get a POST indication.
Then start reinstalling things one at a time. Ususally starting with video card, memory, harddrives, other expansion cards.
Just take it one step at a time to find...
