    HP L2335 23" 16ms... sweet

Are you on an L2335? If so, you should have received a DVI-DVI cable as well as the VGA-DVI. (in the original HP box that is. of course the vga cable is usually attached when you first receive the monitor) -Cheerz

Here are some HL2 images at 1920x1200. Pictures came out a little blurry (borrowed camera but the actual view of the HP screen in person is incredible though) Cheerz - Shag

    HP L2335 23" 16ms... sweet

I'll try to post some pics. Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera yet. But I'll try to borrow a friend's camera and post some HL2 goodness. ;) - Shag

Just a note. With the 6800 GT HL2 runs fluid at 1920x1200 (true 16:10 widescreen btw) on the HP L2335. Frankly I would not have thought it would be possible but it's GORGEOUS!! Cheerz - Shag

Definitely return that. For the money you should expect minimal to no pixel / screen defects. Unfortunately as we all know HP's QC sucks. Hopefully the next one will work out for you. (Btw, I got lucky. Zero dead / stuck pixels or other defects - thx Dave G.!) Again for the money I...

Vampirtc, I could be wrong but I doubt it would be a problem. I have a 6800GT so I'm not sure how an ATI would work with this monitor (though I guess it would be great). The monitor will take a standard res (4:3) and, depending on the HP L2335 monitor setting you use, will either stretch...

    HP L2335 23" 16ms... sweet

Hi Leo, I doubt it but I could be wrong. The screen pivot is all software controlled (whether you use Pivot Pro or video card software / drivers to do it) where as the pip is hardware based. Hopefully I'm wrong though. Would be cool. -Cheers :D

Just wanted to report. I've had my L2335 for 5 days or so. So far.... Incredible! Not a single dead or lazy pixel to be found!! Running on a BFG 6800 GT with no problems at 1920x1200 dvi/dvi. HD content though the component inputs look great. I think this monitor scales very well...

Hey Darktiger, First off, my condolences! I know that must suck!! Second, where did purchase the monitor? (Just curious) Hopefully you'll have minimal trouble replacing / fixing the problem. ;) Thx! shag

Nvidia driver version 61.65 (unreleased) and up (now that 61.76 is available) should support true dvi up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60hz. Sounds like this is the case with most Nvidia cards at least. Just a driver fix. I have a BFG 6800 GT but I unfortunately do not have a flat panel to test...

    HP L2335 23" 16ms... sweet

Hi All, Been lurking for a long time and this forum rocks! One question. Does the L2335 have a 1:1 resolution ratio feature? My impression from what I've heard in this forum is probably not but.?.? I believe the smaller 20" HP has this feature and I know the Dell 2001fp does as...
