Once switch should also use less power. This is more of an advantage during a power outage if you are running PoE cameras and your network equipment is all on an UPS.
MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Titanium with box and all original papers. UPC was cut from the box for a rebate. While not part of a large mining rig, this card was mined on occasionally while not gaming.

The simple way is to increase the volume until distortion is heard and then reduce the volume a bit. That would be your safe limit.
With quality components, which yours appears to be, I wouldn't be concerned with turning it up. What does your AVR show as the volume in dB at 50%?
I had an old psu that occasionally would require me to unplug it from the wall to get it to power on. I figured I would hold out as long as I could on buying a replacement. The worse that could happen would be that one day it won't power on, right? Wrong! It popped and took a few hard drives...
If the signal strength was low or connection slow you would need to manually make the switch. Switching is only done automatically if the primary sim completely loses the connection.
This is already possible with an unlocked dual sim phone. Asus, Xiaomi, and OnePlus all make dual SIM models. I'm not sure if a 4g+5g phone is available yet but there are many 3g+4g models.
A TV couldn't mount to that box. Those small screws wouldn't securely hold the weight of the TV. I also see a patch below the bottom right of the cubby box. Remove the box and look inside. A stud might be right there.
If they were mining at the same time on the same pool, the laptop with the higher hash rate would receive a higher amount.
If laptop 1 mined during the 19th it would have received more than double the normal payout. If laptop 2 mined on the 20th it would have received the normal payout. This...
The actual amount of ETH mined will vary daily even if your hash rate is constant. Take a 7 day average. A couple days ago ETH mining payouts were unusually high. Your hash rate wont improve over time but your payout probably will if the pool you are using uses PPLNS.
Most miners reduce the...
According to the manual, the maximum memory is 8GB so you would just need to purchase another 4GB stick. If you want to match what is already there, the HP part number is 691740-001. Looks like these sell used on eBay for $13.
It makes most sense to might whatever is most profitable and then exchange what you have mined for your cryptocurrency of choice. There are various website calculators that help you determine profitability.
What if you could somehow place a laptop inside of there? Would it be possible to make use of the C128 keyboard and have the video permanently output to an external monitor?
Unlikely. GPU mining really started to take off earlier this year when ETH started to climb above $1000. After this crash ETH is around $2500. Cards won't plummet in value until mining is unprofitable.
Have current generation gpus collectively spent more hours mining or gaming? I'll say mining. Therefore, the argument can be made that mining is actually the normal use for gpus.
There might be another screw under the sticker. Why open it? You can use CrystalDiskInfo to see if if the serial number and size match what is on the outside label.
