I've been searching for the best deal on a surround sound gaming headset and came across this deal.
ASTRO Gaming A40 PC Headset Kit - $99.99 (normally $150)

ASTRO Gaming MixAmp Pro - $79.99 (normally $130)...
Yikes. That's quite a temp difference. I don't plan on doing any OCing, do you think I will be fine?
Also, forgive my ignorance because I only upgrade/rebuild every 5 years or so, but do video cards bring IN air from the backplate? Or do they push air OUT of the backplate? If they bring it IN...
Hey guys and gals.
I'm looking at replacing my 2xSLI GTX 570s with 2xSLI GTX 680s. My only concern is spacing. The cards I'm looking at are Asus DirectCU II TOP GTX 680s, which take up 3 backplates
Here are my other specs:
Mobo: MSI P67A-GD65
Case: Corsair 650D
They would...
Here's a dumb question. Could these be SLI'd in my mobo? If so, I'll take both.
I'm running a MSI P67A-GD65 and I have no idea how the triple backplate situation would work out.
Edit: PM'd!
I know you're trying to sell the entire lot, but I need a black SLI bridge.
Would you be willing to sell the 2-way EVGA flexible SLI bridge? Is $5 shipped to 90027 reasonable? You can toss it into a regular envelope if you can to save on shipping.
LMK :)
What a great rig. I have a few questions for you.
Which front mesh drive panels are those and where'd you pick them up? I'd love to get a fan in there.
How much is cooling improved by moving the hard drive rack back instead of in the front? I don't plan on swapping any different fans in there...
So my case came today and as I was admiring it, in all of it's $200+ glory, I noticed something strange...
I'm actually a lot more bummed about this than maybe I should be, but when I spent this much on a case, I was hoping everything would be flawless. I mean, who wants to buy an error case...
Corsair HX1000W or AX1200W, or any other quality 1000W+ PSU. I can't find a deal on these anywhere. The first retailer that has a decent deal on them will get my purchase, along with many others' I'm assuming.
Also, Corsair 650D :D
He could be selling it for less, sure. But he could also be selling it for more.
If you don't like it, don't buy it. He won't make his money. It's not like he bought five of the things and cut a lot of other people out of the deal.
Haters gonna hate, I suppose.
While I agree with you to an extent, I was sad to see the other thread go. I really enjoy the up-to-date notifications people provide on discounts and drops at their local stores. Since this is a liquidation, product availability at stores is very different, so creating a single thread for...
Thanks for the update fellow Tucsonian. :D
I was gonna drop by today, but you saved me the trouble! Man, I really need some better cooling for my new rig and they just won't budge on the damn stuff!
Shoulda done what I did! Wake up and get to the store right as they open! I worked at a BB and have shopped at them for years; calling doesn't help at all, it only makes you more late. Show up early and pray the online inventory was correct.
Sorry. :(
I picked one up this morning after constantly checking the local in-store stock on the website and finally finding one store that recently got some.
I used the 12% off coupon. They had at least 5 more of them as of this morning.
Tucson, AZ -- Broadway Store.
I love [H] because they stuck to their guns when it came to Infinium Labs and won! Yeah, I know that was a LONG time ago, but still!
I also love the [H]ot|Deals forum because it brings me the latest and greatest tech deals, before anyone other site, straight from the horse's mouth. The For...
Thanks a ton for the inside info Rockjay! It would probably be best to look on the C.USA site and find rebated items, then attempt those in store.
By the way, it certainly sounds like you work/worked there, but I don't know if you ever specifically said you do. So ... do you work there? :)
I, for one, appreciate the experience you brought to this thread with your first post. Welcome to the forums and please keep up the great quality posts!
I called Dellndia and tried to pull the whole "this was a birthday present for a friend and it's going to be late" spiel and they wouldn't upgrade my shipping or video card. Go figure. Man, I've never waiting so long for someone to take my money before.
Oops, very good eye. I thought I killed the option of DDR3 in my searches. Man, I wonder how many people got the DDR3 board by mistake. Thanks for the heads up!
