Looks like someone tried to wrap an item in paper instead of finding the right size gift box to put it in.
Either in a hurry because it was break time/lunch time/end of shift, or they were out of the correct supplies and the department was doing one of their "power hours" where the highest...
Here is something I posted last time we had one of these Amazon shipment discussions.
To add to that, in the shipping process the individual is told to use the box the system recommends to save time. Now if the item(s) is(are) too large for a box they are allowed to go to the next size up...
Is that PSU enough to run 2x 7970s? That could very well be your problem.
From the AMD system requirements. 500W PSU for a system running just 1 card, you might be asking too much from it.
Ok, get this one. If they are under the age of 18, and since it is a high school I'm sure most of them are, they can not be legally bound by any contract they sign in any state in this country. The school has absolutely not legal grounds on this one.
I work at Amazon's Fernley, NV Fulfillment Center in receiving. One of the processes we do when we receive a brand new item in the facility is called "Cubiscan." What this basically is, is a laser scanner and scale that measures and weighs the product. I've seen some people that are doing...
I work at Amazon, sad to see all the negative reviews of the PRODUCT based on 1 persons stupidity. Please stop posting reviews if you do not have first hand experience with the product and the company you are buying it from, NOT the Marketing company. I have reported the reviews to the proper...
Security guard still there today. I asked one of them yesterday why they were in there and he pointed to the pallets, said if you scanned the UPC on the outside of the box they showed up in the system as pencils. A different guard later in the day told me what was actually in the boxes.
Not supposed to be talking about this but we actually have 2 pallets of these sitting on a shelf in the amazon facility I work at. They are in a restricted access area and had a security guard posted there all day today when normally there isn't one.
For those of you that pre-ordered from Amazon I saw the General Manager and one of the Operations Managers today packing copies of Halo:Reach at the RNO1 facility in Northern Nevada while the hourly workers were on their break. Shameless plug for where I work, but good to see even the higher...
The new WoW patch also did a complete overhaul on the chat system. If you're running chat addons that are out of date it will really gimp your framerate and even cause loss of video and UI in high traffic areas like Dalaran.
Already available at amazon

I work at the facility near Reno, NV and saw someone putting them out on the shelves on Wed morning.
I can't say anything for the UK as I don't live or work there. As for the US sites, we are not allowed to work more than 12 hours in a 24 hour period and not allowed to work more than 60 hours in a Sun-Fri week. Currently at the RNO1 facility in Fernley, NV we are working mandatory 11 hours, 5...
I work at Amazon.com's Northern Nevada Fullfillment Center. We have literally thousands of the different variations of iPods in the warehouse. I work in shipping to make sure your shippments get out when we say they are supposed to get out, of course as close as we are to the holidays those...
About WoW. I get awesome framerates most of the time with the non superclocked version(clocked to 600/1850), but when I'm flying over Duskwood or another similar area with TR SSAA turned on the framerate drops into the teens and sometimes even into the single digits. I would like to see this...
