Yes, the "legendary" BH5 sticks.
Mushkin PC3500 lvl 2 black Bh5 w/ blue heatspreaders.
They are in good shape, heatspreaders have NEVER been removed and they are nice overclockers.
Asking $100 shipped via fedex w/ insurance and tracking #, packaged like a champ.
These chips have ran...
Hey guys, starting a new worklog for my "rebuilt" cascade. I'll try to keep this thread updated as i go. This will prob just be a clone of another thread i have on another board. But figured some here would be interested.
Parts include:
(1) 120v LG 5150 BTU Rotary w/ accumulator
(1)...
Ok time to start another extreme CPU cooler build.
This will be the work log for a new single stage phase cooler i will be building for someone from this board. I've finally found a place to get suction line hoses made from all stainless teel and great quality. The 2nd gen blocks i've...
I've said before that im' a student at UWF. I'm a medical/chemistry student there and we have access to alot of cool machine, substances and labs. But the cool thing is i talked to the lab worker today about possibly getting some Liquid nitrogen to do a experiment on CPU cooling with. I...
Hey, just about finally got the evaporator block done for my cascade i'm building. It started off with a solid chunk of copper measuring w/ a 1.625" diameter and 2" tall. This one is a little larger and has thicker 0.25" fins and gaps. The bottom piece is just a hair over 0.25" for the...
This is my current design for the block i'm going to get machined to use on my cascade and single stage. Please leave any comments or advice and i would be grateful. These are in "raw" form and will need to have evap ports and return suction grooves up along the fins. Can't decide if i'm...
Danfoss compressor i picked up. Got this baby brand new.
It's rated at ~550 Btu's w/ R134a w/ -5 Centigrade.
Here is the link to the spec sheet from Danfoss.
I plan on using R404 since its pretty easy for me to get.. This would be a nice 2nd stage for a cascade or something. Acetylene...
Well i finally got everything in. From right off the bat, these new chips are amazingly fast. It was kind of a bitch though. The board out of the box would'nt work with 18x mulitplier, so i had to do a bios flash (with a different chip) and then install my new chip....a pain yes, but now its...
I made this for someone who asked me too. Anyone else please comment if they have other designs and anything to help out people curious or interested in building a system.
I sell phase change parts as a service to the community. I don't make alot on these parts, but i do just offer them since some people have trouble getting ahold of certain parts to build, repair or service their phase change units. The parts i sell are all top quality are yes you can save a...
Been working on this a little while on another board....but figure i'd post it up here so maybe some of you could check it out or comment on it.
1st stage is a LG rotary 5150btu with big ole overkill condensor....3/8" suction line and 80" of i believe 0.030" cap tube. 2nd stage is a matasuma...
I've been playing around with this chip some, and it seems to be a pretty good one. Just messing around with some better cooling to try to get a feel for the chip. Got a "cool" cooling project i've been building lately to try this chip out on.
Enjoy!!!.....and for those who may ask...
Ok guys, this is the begining of another Computer Project for me. The whole continuing theory i love about computers is overclocking your sh*t to the max. Everyone knows that a bigger OC needs more voltage but generates more heat, so you must disperse the heat and viola!!! Instant nice over...
Ok with the K4J55323QF-GC16 (the 1.6ns) Samsung RAM. It's rated at 600 MHz. Now, the highest OC on the RAM for these XT PE's i've seen is averaging about 650 or so. How much voltage is being used to crank it to that speed.
Are ya'll using a hard volt mod, or is a bios edit enough to give...

Anyone like some Mushkin PC-3500 level II bh-5 ???? I know i do, this is my first bh5 and i "guess" i like it. 250 Mhz 1:1 @ 2-2-2-5 timings will do i suppose, with a OCZ DDr voltage booster at least....
Now, if i could just get this damn 2.4c to run at 3.75 GHz @ 1:1 ratio...
Are all memory boards that use bh-5 the same bh-5.....as in.....
bh5 3200 chips = bh5 3500 chips = bh5 3700 chips.....
I'm in the market to get some along with the OCZ DDR booster (which almost alows unlimited voltage for RAM) and is there any difference to get the 3200, 3500 or 3700 boards...
Anyone else starting to see if they are getting better overclock's with this new "colder" weather coming?
Well here in Florida, we aren't exactly known for cold weather, last week temps were still hitting in the mid to high 80's no problem and it is pretty much hot as hell here all year long...
And the winner is? Im looking to perform the pro to xt PE mod....i've read about the 1.6ns and VIVO somewhat, but what is ACTUALLY the best company to go with to perform this mod with. I'm possibly looking to overclock it beyond after the bios flash. Got enough cooling and all that so help me...
By doing so, this obviously "voids" the warrenty. For those of you who have done this, was the cooler's once again stuck with "sticky pad tape" or did it have thermal paste on it? I want to put my waterblock on one of these new cards, but in case the card acctually messes up (not do to water)...
wtf?
I've got a P4C800-e Deluxe and a 2.4 @ 3.4....this temp can't be right....anyone else having this problem.
Btw....using MBM5.....from the built in sensor i suppose.
It no worky....tried everything to get it to work (onbaord audio) including all driver updates and etc...i've seen other's with same prob but no solutions....plz help someone...
i've got a zapped Abit is7 (865pe) and now i'm looking to get a new board thats great for overclocking. I've got a 2.4c that stop at 3.4/3.5'ish with PC-4000...What is the better of the 2 boards as far as features and OVERCLOCKABILITY.
Anyone done this...i want to make a long tall clear reservoir. Maybe 3" x 3" by 12" tall and sqaure. Just use what type of glue and silicon to seal the lining....?
Ok. I've recently finished the new water loop for my computer. It's a full tower case by antec i believe. I've had it a while. It used to house my old Dually p3 server, but sold all the parts a while back and now imma gonna use for the mod. Mainly because of its size (to fit my radiator)...
Need help in my other "overclocking" video card thread here.
I'm going to make the "jump" from ATI to Nvidia, and i just made these blocks (which hold alot of sentimental value) and i dont want to give up my GPU block, so check my thread out if you can help.
Ok here's my story:
I'm an ATI whore. The 9800 series stuff was proven for its time. Unfortunately, its time is up. Im with the many getting a new video card. It's between the x800pro and 6800gt. And i must say, im leaning majorly to the 6800gt because of the price and performance...
Check out this website, it has EVERYTHING you could need to do alot of mods.
Heat shrink tubing
Stuff for voltage mods
Heatsinks
Multimeters
Paste
Wire management stuff
http://www.allelectronics.com/
Im talking lots of stuff for under a $1.00
I've just added some Artic Silver 5 to my water cooling blocks. Anyways, my buddy came over to check out my new water loop, and i turned off my dual 120mm helicopter fans (semi loud) on my radiator to allow for the noise level of pump to be heard. We decided to see how much difference the 2...
I'm starting a doom 3 case mod. Would this look cool cut into my panel with neon of course glowing out of it.
Just something i made in MS paint real quick
The font is similar to the original doom text.
I have a 128MB 256bit 9800pro R350. Right now core is running at 475 with Gigacube bios and waterblock. I think i have a "golden" if you will card. Whats the norm for a resistor volt mod for these types of cards?
What blocks will fit?
Saw another thread somewhere and the guy said he used a R300 block and it worked fine, i saw the picture and it was mounted on there nicely.
Are the mounting holes for the x800 GPU in the same orientation as the 9800pro's????
Any Intel 865/75 boards with PCI express on the horizon?
Anyone seen any companies mentioning to manufactor these boards yet. I've seen the AMD sckt 762 or whatever with PCI express to come out around october. Surely there will be soemthing for us Intel guys too that want PCI express but...
I think my motherboard is the problem, but what yall think:
Abit Is7
P4 2.4c M0 sl6z3 Costa Rica @ 3.4 (1.625v)
Watercooled
PC4000 in dual channel
I good little NB cooler
284 fsb @ 5:4 divider
locked AGP ratio
66/33
I think the 865 Chipset is holding it back, or the Chip is at its...
