That also doesn't mean that any of the mods will be any good, though. I'm not saying they won't be, but lets be honest here. For every halfway decent mod there are hundreds of garbage ones.
I thought Bioshock was an absolutely wonderful game. I have no complaints.
Well, are they? I don't do a lot of photo editing or anything like that, but I'm really sensitive to color changes, and it drives me crazy when things "aren't quite right." Would a TN panel drive me insane? The price difference between TN and higher quality panels is pretty significant, and I'm...
That's all well and good, but you'll probably find (at least in my experience) that more guilds use Vent than Teamspeak. I have no problems with either. I'm just telling you what I have observed.
You can use Ventrilo with the mac as long as the administrator sets it up correctly. You just have to use the Speex codec instead of whatever it is that comes with Ventrilo.
Mega Man's up there on my list, but I'd have to say the Castlevania series (with the exception of the 3d games) are my favorite of all time. Everything from Castlevania 1-3 on the NES, to Dracula X for the PC-Engine, to the amazing Symphony of the Night and the other Metroid-style Castlevania...
That game was HARD. I loved that game. The controls were kinda funky, though.
My first system was an Intellivision and an Atari ST personal computer. From there, I got an NES, and I've been a gamer ever since. I'm 23.
Yeah, the core system will more than likely save you absolutely zero money in the long run. A hard drive is basically a must, in my opinion. Spend the extra cash and go for the premium.
It'll easily still be good at 70. I'm 67 right now, and only in AQ40/BWL gear on my warrior, and have only upgraded in like three spots.
The gear inflation isn't 1/10th what people think it is.
At 70, yes it will be different, due to level 70 endgame opening up, but I can tell you right...
The Ninja Gaiden games have ALWAYS been hard. 1, 2, and 3. I wasn't surprised when the Ninja Gaiden games came out for the Xbox and people were complaining about the difficulty.
God those games were murderous.
Anyone remember Solar Jetman for the NES? That one was pretty hard too.
This is the real funny part about this post.
I make a ton of money on the Auction House on my server, and a guildie of mine is up to over 6k gold, with our guild bank at around 18k gold or so.
If you're only making 25 gold a day, you need to rethink your strategies.
The anonymity of online gaming seems to being out the total douchebag in people. My favorite type of multiplayer is the good old fashioned 2-4 player console multiplayer. At least then you're among friends, even if you're still hanging out on your couch.
I love PC gaming, but the lack of...
Oh man, so many great games...
Saturn, of course you have to check out Radiant Silvergun if you can find a copy of it somewhere.
Also check out for the dreamcast:
Ikaruga (also ported to the Gamecube. Phenomenal game)
Border Down
Zero Gunner 2 (a super cool helicopter game)
Fallout 2!!!
Absolutely no question for me about it. I loved that game. It was as close to a real pen and paper RPG as you could get. One of the reasons I loved it was that there were so many ways to solve any and all problems in the game.
Of course I have. I already said I LOVE Lumines (Loved Rez. My favorite all time ps2 game) and Burnout. I bought Wipeout when it came out but found it pretty boring. It was good, but nowhere near as good as Wipeout XL was.
GTA = not my cup of tea. I got tired of the series after Vice City. I...
I own both and have gotten pretty angry that my PSP has almost no good games for it. I have Lumines, Burnout, and that's about freaking it, at the moment. I don't feel like buying GTA simply because I'm not a fan of the GTA series.
These days I pretty much only use my PSP for emulation of...
Icewind Dale 1 was EXTREMELY fun to play multiplayer. Grab a friend or two, let each player create a couple characters, and go dungeon crawling.
We used to do this on a lan. Much more fun that way, since you can communicate with each other so much easier.
You can get that game so...
I think my favorite combo ever is Sweeping Strikes + execute. Nothing like wailing on three people with an execute just because one of them was at low hp :D
The nice thing about a 31/5/15 build is that you get the full benefits of the Protection tree, still get your 5% crit bonus from the fury tree (no enrage or piercing howl is kind of a bummer in PvP, but it's easily worked around), and you get the benefit of Mortal Strike.
How could you go...
What you fail to realize is that past 15 in protection does almost nothing for your tanking ability. Up to defiance is really as far as you need to go for protection. They revamped the prot tree and made the 31 point talent a freaking offensive ability (why? No clue.)
You don't need to "spec...
Defiance is really thing only thing that I feel is even CLOSE to "necessary" for BWL, and even then only for fights like Broodlord where aggro is something you have to worry about.
31/20 tanks can tank just fine in the endgame, though 31/5/15 is a good compromise. This way you get Defiance...
I hate Rhythm/Music games, and I absolutely love this game. It's a blast. I'm a guitarist, so I think it's hilarious all around.
Great game, great gameplay, cool soundtrack.
I saw it more as a really really nice tech demo than a game. I know they're planning on making a fantasy game using the engine, but I don't know what to expect, so there's not really any point in speculating at this time.
Yeah, I pretty much agree with you on that list.
I'm always worried people will skip out on Earthbound because it's just so goddamn WEIRD, but that's one of its charms.
I love its hilarious story, awesome gameplay, tons and tons of dialogue, quirky music and graphics.
No no no no.
Warlords III.
Warlords Battlecry III is a horrible RTS based on the Warlords franchise.
Warlords III, however is a great Turn-Based strategy game with no resource gathering at all.
I've been playing WoW for the last year, and have been completely oblivious to what has been going on in the PC world (since I'm sick and tired of FPS games for the most part. I'll play one, but only if it really brings something new to the table).
Therefore I'm still running:
Althlon...
Play with two or three friends co-op. Awesome fun, as it's you vs thousands of monsters.
Single player you probably won't have as much fun, I'll admit, but playing co-op is rediculously fun. Not every game has to be hyper realistic or deep to be a good time :)
I agree. I picked up a DS the other day on a whim since I'm taking a two week vacation from work, and have been extremely impressed with this game.
The animation is on par with Symphony of the Night, and the gameplay is absolutely awesome.
