i remember when i used to draw maps for school :) anyways, does this need to have "antique" details, because if you just need a map, you can easily vector it in either ps or illustrator and print to whatever size you need. and im pretty sure that theres some tutorials out there to achieve...

since there isnt very many *good* vectoring tutorials, i would suggest learning on your own. i know that it seems difficult, but once you get a hang of it and screw up a few times it pays off in the end. First find a tutorial on using the pen tool in ps/ill (had one bookmarked but its gone)...
