That is not true about the NF2 non ultra not supporting dual channel... I bought an Epox 8rda+ NF2 400 chipset motherboard the first week they were available and it ran dual channel just fine..

I would think that with the single 6800gt's performance matching that of 2 - 6600gt SLI is not a smart decision except with the upgragability... I don't think that a Single 6800 ULtra will out perform the 2 - 6800gt SLI because the cards are pretty much the same, but with different clocks...

It is pretty easy... I directly connected my 3.3v line to the vdimm circuit and then turned down my 3.3v line (via pots on the the P.S.) until I was still stable w/o problems with the memory or system.... ;)

I'am using the 6800 ultra w/ the NV-5 silencer installed on it w/o any problems... I did replace the nforce 3 chipset cooler with the active vantec iceburg copper chipset cooler.. It is close quarters, but that it is capable w/o problems.... I did have the swiftech 159 chipset cooler installed...

I can add to this, If you really stop and look at the little nuts that come with the NV-5 and then look at the little rubber spacers/washers, it only makes sense that if you tighten the nuts to far that the rubber spacers will collapse and the nut will bottom out and that will cause you to most...
