When I bought a GTX 460 they didn't honor their mail in rebate. I called to argue with them over it since it was close to $50 and they basically told me to go fuck myself. Since then I could give two shits about the company. Good riddance for all I care.
If I sold highend cases I would also assume that the person buying it is somewhat of a perfectionist. Every case review you see on the web has a shot of the case and it's covered in fingerprints. How hard would it be to include a set of cotton gloves with a case so that when I get done...
The more I read about Google the more it pisses me off. Here's to hoping the Firefox phone takes off. I don't want an iAnything and Windows phones don't do anything for me. I like Chrome and I've gotten to the point I like it better than Firefox but I refuse to use it because of bullshit like...
The biggest issue I have is...
1) Buy game.
2) Start game.
3) Configure graphics/sound/etc.
4) Play game and see in the customization there is already DLC to purchase?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Here's part of the game you just paid for now throw in more money for the 20+ DLCs we'll throw at you through the...
It probably has to do with the Hardware Acceleration set in Silverlight. Open Silverlight and go to the Playback tab and uncheck Hardware acceleration. Silverlight is probably defaulting to this to keep the CPU load down. Here's my question... If you can tolerate the noise what difference...
Good. I'm starting to get aggravated with Android. Every app wants your first born and your SSN to run. The "bundled" (see non-removable without root) Google apps are getting more intrusive too. I like Chrome better than FF now but I refuse to use it since Google already has enough of my...
People at Microsoft must be constipated because they don't give a shit. This was the their same "screw you, we know what you want, now deal with it" tactic they used with Windows 8. They keep thumbing their noses at the consumer and in turn we do the same.
I say sort of... If I were buying this card for myself then definitely yes. If I were buying this for a family member that is starting to get into gaming then no. AMD's gaming bundle adds a lot of value.
Tell this to people who claim that PC gaming is too expensive. I agree with you wholeheartedly with the performance for the average Joe Gamer. The one area I'd like to see nVidia improve upon is their game bundles or lack thereof.
My take in the last 3-4 months of SSD reviews:
A) Want a cheap drive, get a Kingston V300.
B) Want a good drive, get a Samsung 840 Pro.
Does that about sum it up?
Since 64 bit processors are around the corner I suspect KLP will have something to do with that. It would be nice if more apps were able to run on multi-core processors too. The quad core in my phone hardly breaks a sweat.
I read somewhere that the Galaxy S4 is due in April (I think) and it's going to have much better specs.

Blackberry is done. Sell off the IP and move on. When I owned a Blackberry the only other "smart" options were Palm and the early Windows phones. I had played with a Palm phone that a friend had and it wasn't an option. A year later if you didn't have a Blackberry then you weren't one of the...
Good riddance. My one and only Intel motherboard experience.

I think at this point Sony needs to quit focusing on creating new products and focus on quality again. The 80s/early 90s Sony was synonymous with quality. Now they are known for satisfactory products that are too expensive.
Bought mine in May and have used it maybe 3 weeks. I tried it in a few different computers and the Nvelo software kept hanging up and the speed difference wasn't there. If you want a speed boost transferring files get a couple Momentus XT drives and RAID 0 them (cache is already built in).
I have a cache drive using Intel's RST on a Z68 and a Corsair Accelerator using Nvelo software (different PC). I say skip the whole thing. If you're willing to spend money on a 120GB SSD to cache then you might as well just get another SSD. The speed isn't there (don't care what generic...
This may seem like a stupid question but I have to ask. When you put the video card in are you attaching the monitor cable to the video card? If yes have you tried a different connection on the card. 1 of the DVI ports was bad on my 8800GTS back in the day and I wouldn't get a signal from...
Just looking at the BIOS updates on Intel's site I'd say definitely try the BIOS update first. For example one of the fixes in the a previous BIOS update was to:
Latest BIOS for your board...
It's kind of hard to help without knowing the rest of the system (specifics). Primarily let us know what power supply you have (if OEM list voltages) and the motherboard (sometimes they issue BIOS updates to fix video card compatibility problems).
Those chose video games becuase if they said Hollywood then the MPAA would be suing the shit out of them. Last time I looked at my pistol it was an inert object. It wasn't doing anything bad or good, it was just there. Put that in a responsible person's hands and it's fine. Put in an...
Well... no shit. I live 32 miles East of Main St. Houston, TX. We have 1 internet provider, Suddenlink. No one is investing because they are already making money hand over fist so why expand or make it better? Cost/benefit ratio isn't there and that sucks for all of us.
I like the ease of cleaning the fan (my Galaxy GTX 460) and the non-reference cooling solution is nice. My Galaxy GTX 460 has been running 24/7 for over a year in my HTPC without an issue.
Seems like I gave it a try after hearing about Adblock (version 1ish?). Haven't looked back since. It was also pretty easy since I used Netscape Navigator a lot when I was running Win 98 with dialup.
I went to the University of Houston. It's a commuter school with something like 2,000 dorm rooms for the 50,000+ people that attend. Must be a bunch of students going ape shit in the library or over WiFi.
Too bad for us that nVidia doesn't make chipsets for motherboards any more. Shame too that VIA gave it up too. What are the choices now Intel and AMD? Good for them boo for us.
I don't understand how they determine if you aren't using the net the "right" way? Looking for high traffic only using one port (i.e. torrents)? Or are they going to say since your traffic is high you must be illegally downloading? I have 4 people in the house and sometimes 4 streams of...
